I think that may have been a tongue in cheek comment.

Kia sells Sportage with 135kW for 43k so large sedan with 235kW for 40k is maybe just for an engine .

Time will tell, this Kia may change the way Aussies think about the brand who knows but if its good, it deserves to sell.

Looked pretty poised at speed, though that slab, cut off looking rear imo looks a bit meh lol. Good luck to Kia with it when it gets here, hope its win win for them & buyers alike!

Yeah i know what you mean, they call it a sedan - but its more like an Audi A7 sportsback / 4 door coupe....which coincidentally is in a shot near the end of that video

It is easy - Everest is a much larger heavy duty 4WD and it is also generally accepted that is slightly overpriced at he moment.
My point stands and it is that there is nothing on the market with RWD and 320kW for anywhere near 40k. So , how much is XR8 again? Maybe check out sister Hyundais pricing on their (low powered) RWD sedan offering while you at it. |

Its got 4 doors & if future models are released with a v8 well watch em flock to it if it proves reliable enough & priced etc accordingly.
Mustang may have the coupe & v8 sales sown up for now but Kia could potentially usurp the Mustang or take some sales away from Ford unfortunately with a v8 Stinger, time will tell hey. cheers, Maka
