At 44 years of Age I remember the Great Man & what he stood for very well & a standard car with a kit & stickers was not it.
He was about making his cars go, stop & Handle as well as they could with some style along the way.
His cars were Fantastic machines all through & do remember a write up where he said at the time his fave Commodore was the VL Director which he had made not that long ago.
My Fave would be the Red VL Group A & at the time I would have sold my Soul to own one however it never happened.
He was a Great Man with Vision & stood for Substance & would not just add his name to anything although am sure he would have had a Laugh at what this guy is going to do lol
If Holden want to Honour him let them or rather HSV bring out the best Commodore ever & then stick his name on it though his partnership with Holden ended many years ago & Frankly do not think he could care.
Rest in Peace Brocky

Guys, HDT aren't even going to be selling the cars. It's aftermarket "enhancements" only.

Bloody hell, you may as well as hit up ebay and buy a bunch of old-school HDT stickers and Brock memorabilia to slap on a VE. DIY post modern classic. Why pay HDT to do it? It'd be just as lame, and waaay cheaper.

The car reminds me of a slug.

I think the gesture is nice, but do something a little more tasteful.

I do hope it has a polariser.

Rick Kelly's Commodore should be called the Bulldozer.

No it's not. It's about profiteering. Monaro, XU1, Walkinshaw, GT, Pursuit, Charger etc can be flogged til the cows come home but releasing a HDT Brock Commodore is just plain yuk and more than a little misleading. Brock's of old had design input from PB, badging this as a Brock is a ****..... I am suprised at just how identifiable they are though.

All I know is, if they make a 19" version of the old aero rims I am DEFINITELY getting a set for my VH ;)

Those are just a Drive artists impressions.

Seriously doubt the real ones would look like that.
The idea has potential, just hope they do it right.

HDT have been modifying commodores ever since Peter Brock sold the company. This is nothing new.

Why are they sticking ancient stickers onto a supposed "cutting-edge design"? It looks ridiculous. Someone shoot it.

Looks like a giant VH commodore with a spoiler kit from a mercedes pot riveted onto it.
Burn it; then crush it.

What HDT should really be making is the Peter Bogan SS Special. Comes with 8 oil leaks, 19" chrome rims on the front, stock wheels on the back, a slab of VB, a talking booney GPS system(With all the centrelink locations programmed in), a slut called Shazza, and 4 screaming 3 year olds in the back seat tied in with the same single seat belt. Note that theres no performance modifications in my list.

I like it. But then I like the AU and believe it is a thing of beauty. And I think the VE Brock is a work of art. Come on guys, I just do see anything that qualifies it as ugly. I'm getting a chubby just looking at it :

I think they look good.Champion had disscussed his plans with Brock.Champion is a very devoted Brock fan and always has been, the amount of money he has invested into his collection and the museum he is building to let his collection be able to be viewed by the general public is very admiral at least. No money grabbing here.

Something alot of people have forgotten. HDT never stopped building cars even when Holden and Brock split. Brock simply sold the name to another party.
That said, at least the previous HDT cars where more then simply stickers and a rear spoiler. Not impressed.
