This show is frustrating. There is only one thing worse than having a verdict go against you, that's NOT having one at all. "What were They Thinking??" speaking of which, give that segment the heave ho and focus a bit harder on coming up with a verdict on the cars!

These guys just aren't funny, let them finish the series, and shove them off, we need some people who are relaxed, and just want to have fun. In a series trying to live up to the UK version, we can not have people who are scared to tell it how it is!

end rant!

That Ford GT looked like a wild animal.. How big are those rear shoes!!!!

Was it just me or did the HSV get a jump at the start of the acceleration test....??

Their commentary sort of reminded me of Paul GOVER from the Herald Sun, plenty of negative comments about Ford. The young one and the Jeremy wannabee, all they do is agree with each other and the third guy looks silly with his moe. Was hoping with the Smart car it might be a bit more than cosmetic, but they obviously don't have the budget.

I missed episode one, but would give this a 5/10. It really lacked atmosphere and the crowds interest reflected this. If it doesn't improve next week I probably will switch off.

I thought the drag was pretty fair being an "idle start". It shows what both vehicles will do in normal driving. The Clubbie only broke traction after about 30 mtrs, and the F6 not at all from what you could see.

They should have had some on the boil starts to highlight the differences in both vehicles.

Default Bring back the old Top Gear.

If you think the OZ top gear is a poor effort, get on the SBS web site and tell them to bring back the real deal.

I thought it was a very good episode.

It flowed better and was entertaining. Top Gear isn't meant to be taken too seriously.

No negative comments = 'Car Show' ...... Bring back Glenn Ridge! Even, as said above, they had something bad to say about either HSV or FPV, would be better than saying, "IF you like V8's it was good, if you like turbo 6's, it was good" Grow some BALLS Fellas!!!!

I WANT A GT40!!!! Well worth watching ANY show where that is present

I thought it was a great episode.
What were you all hoping for? F6 is better? Who cares, horses for courses. Both are great cars and deal with it, you can read all their positives and negatives in any of the car mags, but you cant read what they were showing.

Should of gave them to the stig to put them both around the track (f6 and clubsport). It would be interesting how they compare.

Holden v Ford review, from what i can see, was mostly a drift comp. The braking test you can see in the tape they weren't doing the same speed, not sure how much diff an extra 1km/h or 2 would make to the stopping distance tho.

Episode two is good as!

The mine section was good. Especially when warren missed the turn haha.

This show wasn't as rushed!

The F6 & R8 test was good, but could've been better. Is it me, or does it seem like they don't really push the cars?

I'll be watching next week for sure!!

Yes, the Holden jumped the start in the acceleration test, and also the Ford GT has been out for over 3 years and is not really 'news', even if a home grown RHD conversion.

Clarkson bought then sold a GT back in '06 I believe... seem to remember it being quite unreliable !
