Did it myself when I was 17. Got my license in NSW, @ 17. 12 mths on P's, Then had Full NSW license by 18. Just as I mates were getting there P's in Vic. After 3 yrs driving on NSW license I transferred it back to VIC for full License. I was still under 21 but as I had held a license for 3 yrs they did not put me back on P's.
Is your car reg in your name? This is a way you could come un stuck. I had my car reg in my sisters name at her address. That way if I was pulled over by Mr Plod I was clear to say I was "just visiting" and borrowed her car. This is important, trust me I got checked out by the cops after having been pulled over a few times in vic. |

It's not like the good old day's , all licences are nationally reconised now, if you have a SA licence you should be able to drive anywhere as long as it is valid.
