3.7 or 3.9 would be better then 411 as there is not enough revs to run a 411

I've never launched a car hard at all, or been to the drags as I'm 17, can't legally go to the drags on my Ls and Dad doesn't like me driving hard in his car which is understandable.

4.11s out of the question then, 3.7s should be the go then.

Look if you are going to drive a car hard you have to understand the risk. This is now going on to be a 20 year old car . If you drive them hard you got to expect them to break in some way.
As most people on here would tell you the same.

Non Holden/HDT "Brock's" aren't that collectible for investment purposes in my opinion. However, they do make interesting conversation pieces and you can pick up a nicely modified car for a cheap price.

jesus brocky was a sell out! lol - the EA looks alright, the SVO looks much better though. that engine though - the figures posted are awesome for something that came out 20 years ago - and is still a 6cyl..

Welcome!

I think alot of people here would be interested to see pics our your LTD. Ive known about them but never seen one other than brochures.

The values of these things (brock Fords) is hard, ive seen asking prices as high as $20k, whether they sell at that or not is another question.

Brock EA's could be had for $4-6k a few years ago, if its mint and 100% all there I could see it selling for $10k for the right person.

As for a value, I'd say youed be lucky to get $5000 for it. There is a SVO fairlane for sale on Ebay, and it looks like he can't evan get a bid for $3200, I'd value a brocky a little higher than the equivelent SVO. Post some pictures to get a more accuret value.
Heres a link to the SVO.

At the moment, it's just a nice Fairlane, but given 15-20 years, it my be worth something to someone. The biggest drama is that their really not all that desireable. It's just a special edition with flash wheels and plate. There is a guy trying to sell a Brock special in Unique Cars ATM, and he wants like $25 000 for it. I think he's dreaming, but you never know...

At the end of the day, it's worth what someone will pay for it, but without precedence, it's worth little more than stock.

Thanks for all your input. Greatly appreciated. The car still drives amazingly even at 20 years old. I'm sure, being a Brock, it was built with only the best Quality. It is not in our interest to keep it and is up for sale.

I'd say $1.5k to $3k max, only to an enthusiast.

At the end of the day it's an EA and they were not the best part of Falcon history, though being 1990 it will be series II with fixes (and the four-speed if auto, but the early four-speed had problems).

The engine output made it up near the impressive EB II S-XR6.

Fish the Holden forums and Facebook pages. There are some collectors who want everything that has the Brock name on it. I'd say 10k-17k depending on condition.
