Yes I remember it well. It seem to have a few problems with traction from memory.....

I saw a dark brown FG the other week that had a flip to it in bright sunshine, not sure if it was Havana or not, but it didn't appeal to me.

Yesterday I ordered a 50th anniversary FG XR6 Turbo ute, lighting strike is the color I went with...
They come with everything, color screen, embroidered 50th leather, dual zone, climate, 19'' wheels XR painted for the 50th, 6 stack CD, mats do come with the car but are already on back order, so they will be delivered with out the mats and supplied later, (only Sedans also have rear park sensors).
I added factory alarm and tint..
There will be only 230 of these Utes made, good value so dont snooze get in early pick your color, each dealer only has a small allocation.
Mine goes down the line on the 20th of July...
There are no Ford employee discounts on these cars.

Thank - you Strapp Ford Doncaster and Sathis for his assistance with my purchase, its the 3rd car I have purchased from them..

Mark, you should have gone tint through my mate Tony. It would have cost only 150-180 for sedan, so much cheaper for ute and whatever % you like! I am not sure about the wheels.

Jase those pics look a little dulled out, wait until you see the color with your own eyes its much brighter with light on it, as with the name the orange really does ''Burst'' out under good light..

Saw Sunburst on TV tonight in the 50th Anniversary Special and it looked fantastic - bright but hey, so is Rapid. Russell and I went with Viper for our Ute (I love it, he doesn't mind it) but he would probably have preferred Sunburst.

Judging by the lack of comments RE Havana (^^), am I the only one who thinks it looks AWESOME!!! Give me a grandpa car anyday!

PS: Would also love a Macadamia kind of colour, like Porsche has come up with:

I'm with fordman6 on that Havana colour. A GT or GS or even XR8 would be the goods in that colour, as would the never to be Galaxie 500 FPV Fairlane variant.

No if i was buying one id probably go Velvet (which is discontinued I believe) or Ego (discontinued as well), but im only 25 years old, it may be more favourable with the older types. I know Holden had a similiar colour run in the Calais / Statesmen / Caprice last year and they dumped it!.

There it is in the VE im really suprised Ford went through with it considering how short lived it was with Holden!

Agree Brent

It isnt a bad colour but I cant see it selling too well.

Very similar to the AU special edition colours they released for the 75th Anniversary Fairlanes / Fairmont Ghias. Colour was called Sandstorm

Definitely not better than Velvet or Ego
