Just over 42,000 Km on my FG R6

Touch the brakes at 70 kph and the steering wheel shakes violently,
In all the Falcons I have owned from new this is the worst disc warp ever.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Be a good idea for Ford to make some badges and if you take your car to a dealer and show the odometer you get the badge to put on your grill or boot. Excellent advertising for people on the road to see how long lasting Falcons are and also a good way to get existing Ford owners a reason to pop into a dealer (and maybe check out some of the new cars there).
i like the idea,,,,except when you come to one of those safety check road blocks and the boys in blue are deciding who they are going to pull over.......argh done 400,000 kliks i see.... onto the shaker with you pulls out canary book .

259,950 for the 2000 AUII wagon
186,xxx for the 2001 AUII Fairlane

The missus and 2 kids just did a 3700km round trip to NSW and back in the wagon and averaged a healthy 520km to the tank on LPG @ 115-120kph loaded up. Gotta be happy with that.
