Probably a policy that says, you don't mess with your Ferrari or you can start servicing it yourself.

1 more vote for no.

I have a mate that bought an ED XR6 with a couple Sprint badges in place of the XR6 ones on the guards. Now he hunted down an XR8 Sprint badge for the boot garnish.

I give him so much shiit for it.

At least FPV built the engine in BA/F and FG XR8's. XD has absolutely zero to do with FPV.

is it a ford built performance vehicle - if he wants it, let him. if it doesn't look good take it off. no matter what anyone does with their car, the fail police will find something to whinge about. you may as well make it easy for them . . . it isn't fair to make them think

Yes but we all know the actuall badge that these people put on the side of their XR8's etc mean "Ford Performance Vehicles", they want to be acknowledged as an actual FPV.

Nothing wrong with FPV decals and badges on BA XR8s as the engine numbers start with FPV anyway.

It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from, that's by far the funniest thing said on these forums in years.

The hypocrisy is strong in this thread.

Chev badges on non chev vehicle = bad
FPV badges on non FPV vehicle = OK
FPV badges on non FPV vehicle = bad

Anyone remember that the first FPV's had 'Ford' badges on them???
Better put them in the fail thread since they're not Ford's.

Perhaps this entire thread needs to be linked in the Epic Fails thread?
