The real story is that a County Councillor in Kerry (who owns a pub BTW) has brought up a motion to bring this idea to the Irish Minister of Justice... of the 27 Councillors is Kerry, 5 vote for the motion, 3 voted against & the other 19 abstained from the vote altogether.

The other 19 councillors were already down at the pub

Its amazing how everyone gets a few cans/bottles/stubbies of "race car driver "
Then implements that theory, except one thing, they seem to hit many things more than race car drivers

Theres no cabs, buses,any other form of public transport out my way,closest cab is near hour away, wonder if i could get this law passed in town ...
If the local isnt at his post the next closest is again hour away, and you wonder why the locals take the punt ...

There was a snitch awhile ago who sat at the pub all day, and anyone who had a few he rang the cops on,this happened for awhile, then ol mate got found out and went for a trip with a few locals to the forest for a talking to

To many people hear have been brain washed into thinking people are drunk at 0.05 it's rubbish if you are a competent drinker. and one of the things about when the socialist took over was that your rights were violated.
As we at least could prove we were able and tell the gestapo to run along before that communist fascist lot got a foot in the door.

I don't support drunk driving at all and believe maybe half of our drivers on the road are really a down right danger to all, even when sober anyway due to their ignorance and stupidity. so a good driver and a drinker is not really a big deal at all. all in all, at 0.08

And i would support 0.05 more so in a built up area or city especially if you did not know your way around. but out in the sticks come on 0.05 is just a fascist red neck joke.

Truth be known, one could blow under 0.05 and be legless and how would the cop know by one just blowing into the road side test.
