Not the greatest picture there because the sun was rather bright and near on directly on it

rog i have the same cam, and i can tell you the speed reading lags to all buggery, it can take several seconds to show the actual speed in the case of braking and accelerating. Sometimes i've screeched to a halt in emergency braking situations and it takes 3 or 4 seconds to show 0 on the screen. Good chance XR6T0Y was going significantly slower than it looks.

I never enter a roundabout with another vehicle next to me in the other lane, unless I am well forward of it so my car is very obvious to that driver. I stay just behind, so if they do cut across into my lane there wont be any mishaps. Just part of defensive driving. |

The line marking on that roundabout that XR6TOY showed, also appears to be wrong:
The arrows before the roundabout clearly show that you can only turn left or go straight on when in the left lane. The right lane has right turn and straight on arrows. Therefore that left lane should not be continuous around the roundabout, here in Vic the left lane normally only goes straight on, not around to the right in that situation. XR6TOY had to cross the left lane to turn into the road he was taking. Maybe that's an SA thing, but could be confusing to drivers. |

and here I was thinking that only QLD had no idea about how to
drive on round abouts.. it happens here alot..its happened to me more times than I like to remember... but the biggest idiot move they like to do here is right hand turns from the left lane.. its like they want to create a HOOK turn of thier own.. ahh I miss brisbane and the gold coast.... haha |

XR6TOY did a left hand turn from the right lane, clearly at fault and in the wrong.

Yesterday a car did almost the same thing to me at the roundabout. Except I was in the left lane they were half in the right lane half in mine caught. I also caught it on my cam. Blast off the horn and they moved over a little bit. |

Yeah, but we have signs on the back that says that if anyone tries to overtake us then, we can drive over their bonnet

Blinkers or no blinkers, drivers should stay in their lane unless it is safe to change lanes, and should not wander partly into the next lane. Whether in a roundabout or driving along a double laned divided road. Obviously larger trucks and with trailers need the extra width in the roundabouts however. Been the wrong way around a large garden roundabout in a firetruck under lights & sirens and it's still probably the most uncomfortable situation I've been in.. short of heading down the highway on the wrong side of divided roads but that's another story, The jesus bar was most definitely in use!

I feel for you Papa; mine was just like yours (no sunroof though) and in really good condition. So to hear this one is gone is sad. Mine, fortunately, went to another good home to a fellow Forums member.
Best remedy? Get yourself one of these S/C beasties; you'll love it!
