Those boot hinges look like they're part of the Harbour Bridge.
Amazing how Falcon and Commodore are one of the few sedans that have hinges that dont intrude into the boot space.

I think this is more a replacement for the old 300c 'base' model V8, obviously sales are not what Chrysler or some members on here thought they would be, and see the range lacking with only having the srt8 as the sole V8.

Not really a poverty pack model as such.

The gs really does have that niche sewn up. And gee, its not selling particularly well either.

People say they want a basic v8 with no frills, but no one wants the gs
People say they want a Luxo barge with grunt and more gadgets they can possibly use, and they don't buy that...

Fickle fickle market place.

I really like the new 300 shape, this is a great addition for those that want the Grunt but don't need all the fruit, its hardly bare bones when you look at whats left.

Similar money to a GT or Clubsport R8 but i'd get one of these past the Mrs alot easier, she loves them, event pointed one out to me at the local Woolies the other day and she rarely notices cars.

So I dug down into the spec's of this car a bit, with the ton of tech gear they've stripped out its listed weight is still 1948 kg's which is about 150 kg's more than a SC GT and interstingly maximum payload is only 415 kg's...

So when you're out patrolling your patch with your three heavy set gangsta mates you're allready over the maximum pemitted payload so you have to tow a trailer for the drugs and dead bodies you're intending to carry around

I can say I wouldn't mind a lot of cars if they had a 'minus BS' package like this.

I like the SRT8 Core too. Of course the other end of the spectrum is to make pretty much everything optional like BMW...
