My biggest concern is for the workers, to be honest. As well as the flow-on effects as have been mentioned.

Little off topic, but do you think some of these people will use the 3 year advance notice to go out and upskill or something? What other options would say, a production floor worker have once Broady closes?

Anything is possible................. but in these days of world over supply of cars its pretty hard to see it happening.

There out selling holden
Its quite clear they gave up trying a year or 2 ago and were prepared to let it die, knowing that whatever they did was never going to lift sales high enough to justify a new model Falcon.

FG business plan I think was based on 3500 Falcon sales a month, it's about a quarter of that now. It was just never going to work. Holden probably don't even get those numbers even with exports, so they must be crapping themselves now.
