So HSV tried to start a hype about a Senator with new kicks, a special id plate, blacked out bits and a new wallpaper on the screen
What an absolute waste of time |

Why bag out a company who is trying to do all the right things for its buyers. Would have been nice if FORD / FPV were in the same position and could build and sell a LWB Fairlane with top shelf kit everywhere and a supercharged V8. Look at the running gear and options on this thing - pretty impressive. Kudos to them I say. |

I would consider one if the price was right. I love the senators, much like I loved the Force 6.

When the screws are tightened. ( ala GT 335 supercharged ), HSV responded as required with the GTS and gave its buyers a choice.....albeit a limited run and expensive one. All said and done, HSV have been able to do what their buyers wanted in most cases. Its not a bad effort considering the limited number of units our Aussie skunkworks ops have to base their AOP on. |

Not that I would ever have a HSV, but I'd have that Senator over a GTS any day of the week!

Meh...I think it's lame. If you were allready in love or looking for one, then good. But other then that it's just a slap together sticker pack that will try and allow them to sell a few more at top $$$.
It's a low volume seller anyway with no future. Spending money on it to make the same money is, well, weird. I've never seen a car company spend so much money on a brand that's dead. (And by dead I mean, low volume, no future) Perhaps they'd be better off following the buissiness structure of all the other companies. The ones that would cut their losses, Save money and spend it on future models. Now I'm waiting for someone to tell me that they allready had the new lightweight rims, screen and stickers paid for in the initial design n build budjet. Imho |

The price point will be interesting. If it's close to or more than the GTS (because it's a limited edition) then they are taking the ****...

Just a sticker special to shift fifty units of a slow seller. Infact it's not even stickers, it's just black badges!.
The manual option is a big plus I suppose, not sure the last time they offered a manual Senator.

Nope just FPV that couldn't fathom that someone might want the spoiler-less look with a manual. Would have been a pi$$ easy way to expand your reach a little or get some GTP buyers up to "E".
Coulda...shoulda...dunna-matta.
