My dog has stopped chasing aurions cause he knows he can no longer catch them. He now only barks in frustration as they pass by.

Where's the childish and offensive remarks? That's your opinion. In my opinion, they're a bit of fun, driven by someone who I'm surprised doesn't start a thread every time he needs to fill up his petrol tank. Hmmm, is it more manly to buy Shell or BP...?

The way I see it....it's offensive to basically devote a whole thread to taking the **** out of someone. Espescially when there's enough of it in the Friday threads as it is. A little bit is harmless fun... But imho it goes way too far.

I do apologise if I have caused offence 1tuffute, but my posts are satirical in intent rather than malicious. I have never insulted anyone on this forum but there is no such thing as a sacred cow. Where there is a strong and adverse reaction in any area of life, including this forum, there is room for satire. It’s just how I see the world.
Hulk is not squeaky clean either and does cause offence (intentionally or not) to other forum members in an indirect fashion, thus becoming a legitimate target of satirical intent. I would expect exactly the same if I was making some of the comments Hulk does on this forum. Perhaps it is difficult to determine what is intended to be satire on an internet forum. However, I can understand your point of view and I shall terminate superyob Tuesday henceforth… Last edited by GasoLane; 24-07-2015 at 09:22 AM. |

Whole threads devoted to taking the **** out of someone......that's a different story. But it's imho so I can only point that out! How others choose to act is up to them! |

Think the point of this thread is to take the mickey out of previous threads and information contained within, that were started by a certain someone.
Not the person themselves.

I think when people start arguing about someone's disability, it could be a sign that the discussion has taken a turn too far in the wrong direction. Just my opinion...

Ok 1tuffute, I did not want to do this but you leave me no choice! You are about to receive... (drum roll) a literacy lesson!!! Humour is mostly based on a power relationship whereby the subject (the target of the laughter) is subservient, or in a lesser position than the creator of the humour.
Laughter equals winning (a) For every humorous situation, there is a winner (b) For every humorous situation, there is a loser If you have ever laughed at anything that involved the above relationship (99.99% of humour revolves around this) then you have played the game yourself... |

This thread was originally created as lighthearted satire and not a place to vent your personal thoughts about other members.
Please keep it like that. I'm sure that Superyob has other subjects in mind for any future treads.
