Kenny ... the $3200 price is about right for the FULL install.
And this is sequential vapour injection which is much better than the carby style systems. Then when Liquid Injection is approved and available ... then it will be even better. Initial testing of Liquid Injection have brought back result of increased power and better economy than petrol .... in a stock standard vehicle. http://www.gas-injection.com/ More information in here on Liquid Phase Injection ... Bill Campbell has run out of funds to get this off the ground though ... which is unfortunate though. ADDED: This system can't be used on EGAS models (that do not have injector ports in the head already) ... as it need to use the injectors for the LPG to be injected in. UNLESS ... you change the head on the vehicle to a petrol version ... and get a fuel rail as well ... and most likely different ECU to run it all as well. Makes Dual Fuel setups more reliable though ... and is incentive to get the system installed.

I've definitely seen under 49cpl around too. Grange Road, Marion Road. The whole thing is LPG is coming down petrol is going up. Almost the right price ratio to make a big difference in savings, i.e, gas is about a third the price of petrol.

My dads car is on gas, around town it isn't really any cheaper than petrol, we pay 79c a litre up here, and around town it doesn't have great economy.

still loving the LPG
 manages 15.9 on LPG so its still got a bit of poke, planning on beating that at the next AFF drag day.
