Hey don't pinch my name.

Nah 300C are everywhere now and every time i see an SRT8 or complete pimp out one i get jealous of driving my TL50. By end of the day my car is rare and unique. Wouldn't mind a SRT8 as my everyday car!

Infinitely better value than GT-P, let alone Force8.

Hey Russ, I saw your car a few months ago at Strapp Doncaster when you were in to give Sath a ride. Your 300C looked veeeery nice.

I think I'd just finished abusing Sath for still not having my XR5 so I think he was glad for the chance to escape! :

I've had no issues so far. There are a couple of minor things that need to be done at the 12k service which is about due but they are in the stupid category - like an overly optimistic external temp reading and a power window that has a mind of it's own sometimes.

I gather they are replacing any of the rotors and pads that show signs of scoring with a newer grooved design on the SRT's but the new package is not as effective from the anecdotal information so I'm not fussed either way.

Cheers
Russ

Now they got a SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same 6.1L Hemi doing 13.5 down the Quarter mile in stock form. Insane :eclipsee_

Love them - sexy looking beast - boy, what I could do with one - new upholstery, two tone paint, some decent rims. Would have purchased one if I had not gone for the Super Pursuit.

Ciao - James

Styling is unique and you either love it or hate it. Personally i think it is great in V8 form. But... it doesn't handle like a fairmont ghia or calais. :

I must say that they are, IMO, one on the butt ugliest cars on the road. The GM of Perth Motorplex traded a '98 Boxster on one and I get to look over it now and then. Each time I think man that's a "Dogs Brakfast". Let's face it, a really ugly chick with a foot long nose would turns heads too, but for all the wrong reasons.

I love the front of them, the rear is just a little plain compared to the front for me.
Overall though, for the amount of money they cost and what you get, they are unbelievable value; especially when compared to holden and ford.
Pity they share the same dated E class platform as the Kia wannabe S class.

And there I thought a poor mans Porsche was a Vee Dub with a whale tail, not a $140,000 car which has been described as one of the best handling, sexiest and most enjoyable drives ever.... which is the way most people see the 986 Boxster. Next you'll tell me the Typhoon is a poor mans GT...lol!

Back on the Topic.... Yep the 300C is still FUGLY e
