i'm a pig farmer.... it was supposed to be a temporary thing until i got my license and an apprenticeship (i wanted to be a panel beater). i've been there 6 months now, get my license in a week and now i have $20,000 financed so i won't be leaving anytime soon. planning now to do some night study and eventually try to get onto something with a bit better pay and more consistent/reliable start/finish times.

I don't fit into any. I worked in pubs & entertainment for 25+ years and gave it all away to be a full-time stay at home dad.

Hardly "retired/unemployed"!!! :

Fitter and Turner (Leading Hand) at a mineral processing plant. Pretty big challanges at times, around $200,000 an hour lost production while the plant is down.

I draw stuff and then somebody makes what I drew.

Mechanical engineer in the earthmoving industry designing excavator attachments, primarily quick hitches.

Dunno if I have said this in this thread already, it's been banging around for a while.
