Thanx guys, i was so freakin nervous yesterday when i took her out for the first spin (wilson can vouch for that :P), shoulda smoked a pound of weed before hand :P (huh huh huh, it stalled, huh huh huh, GO ROUND!! huh huh huh :P). We already had a few looks from the locals as we were driving past, first time out we were stopped on a hill going to turn right, when some guy was standing out the front of his house staring at the car. Went to take off and naturally I stalled it :P, but he just kept waiting there until we took off. Took off second time and it was alright, and as we drove past him he gave us a nod Also got a big stare from the local "holden crew" as we drove past (actually we drove past twice just to rub it in :P).

I already like the attention, can't wait to go for a proper cruise!

still needs door pods.
chrome touches
wipers and coweling

theres a few more things too... but still final touches to be done.
not to mention jumping under the car and tightening anything bushed up so get rid of a few knocks.

Yay i made it to the servo! It certainly does grab people's attention, a few people had elongated looks at the car

Starting to get the hang of the manual aswell Still in an "auto" frame of mind, so i haveto think a bit whenever i'm taking off from standstill. Gave it a little on the straights, i can certainly feel the power! Very responsive now, and power feels very linear. There's a few rattles that need to be soughted, still trying to pinpoint exactly what's causing it. There's also a ticking lifter that's annoying me, so that also has to be fixed. Wasn't game enough to go over 4500rpm, but that will change once i get a little practice

the advantage of 5 speed will make it feel more punchy, even with a stock motor.. so yours must feel like a bullet

I wont let anybody drive my car other than 2 people (whom I live with), you'd gotta be crazy to ever let a gf/bf/mate/whoever drive your car!!

It's a beautiful car, you want it to stay that way! =D

any vids yet?
