Hi to all,
New member/poster here saying hi and introducing myself. Would also like to apologise to the mods for posting in sales without reading first. Have joined for multiple reasons mainly because I've worked on cars from a young age and currently am in ownership of an EF and an EL. Current residing area is Melb. region so I try and keep an eye out for car shows and meets.
Happy to meet you all.

Picked up a 1970 cortina mk2 L I’m trying to find out what the vin and engine numbers mean and chase up if it left the factory with these in it. It’s dressup up as a gt tribute car. Planning on a full Resto as a tribute car

Hello guys, been a member for years but haven't been active in quite a while. After a search spanning at least 15 years I finally found a white xf silver anniversary, and more importantly, was in a position to be able to buy it. I remember going to the ford dealership as a wide eyed 12 year old with my dad to pick the very same car up. With dad and his car both being long gone, it's been a dream of mine to own one. Anyway, it's in line for a full Resto which I will keep you posted on on the relevant section.

Cheers

Red face Re: Welcome to New Members - Post here to say gday!

Hi, I'm John from Romsey VIC.

I worked for Ford UK for 30 years before taking an early retirement in 2004. Moved to Aus three years ago and bought a 2012 Territory SZ Titanium AWD Diesel, which is starting to be a pain - so hopefully this forum can help me out.

I was OK in the days when you only needed fuel and a spark and the car would run eventually!!!

thanks for the intro name is Terry and have territory sz diesel first time on this forum am aiming to find a way of adapting recent model double din Kenwood stereo to my car but after research find that the screen and dvd are separate and attached to a circuit board not easily detached to allow for aftermarket audio.
if there is anyone out there that has successfully fitted after market audio to Territory 2011-2016 SZ model please would be most grateful for info
cheers
Terry

Hi, my name is Robert I have a 2018 Ranger PX 11. I would like to replace the original headlight bulbs with LED ones. I have been told by my local Ford Dealer that I will eventuality have computer problems. I would then have to take it back to them to unlock the computer. I was wondering if any other Ranger owners have done this and did they have any problems. Or how did you improve the poor headlight problems.

Hi . I have a Ford Territory sz rear wd. Getting alot of noise from the rear end a slit thumbing at low speeds & louder wine at higher speeds like on the left side & when towing heavy loads a real bad vibration on acceleration. Trying to work out whether it is the wheel bearing, cv or the diff.

Hi Guy's im new to the forum, i thought its about time i pulled my finger out and make a start on the old Falcon XP. I did have a windsor 289 that i pulled out of it for a rebuild, but it was pinched from storage many years ago and now im on the hunt for a replacement with box. Im not much of a tech head so im hoping this forum will help me on this journey to the dream of a Cherry Black with updated mods Falcon XP

G'day, I'm Ian.

Been a Ford fan and owned several over the years. Funny, I grew up a Holden man, but since I bought my first Ford (XF), I've been converted.

Decided it's time to join up here.

Currently got a 2012 Territory, one of the best cars we've ever owned.
Picking up a 2015 Ranger this week.

Hi All,

Joined recently, as heaps of my Google searches would link to posts by users of this forum.

Last 2 cars have been BF MKII XR6 Sedan, FG MK1 XR6 Turbo ute and current ride is an FGX XR6 Turbo ute.

Starting to do some performance mods to my XR6, as I will be holding onto it for some time now.

Hi all.
Joined to get access to technical docs, proved useful already.

Getting the old XY Fairmont going again, poor old girl was parked up while university, marriage, kids happened.

It's teal glow with saddle interior, factory 302w C4, and was running original block with alloy top end around 3 yrs ago. Bit oily, so just had block bored and replacing suspension bushes, springs etc now before putting it back together.

Look fwd to summer cruising and car shows with family.
Also have had XA sedan, HQ ute and XF mont, plus a few old bikes still in the shed..

Located in Southern NZ so should be some good photo opportunities when all going.
