Interesting colour choice for the pic. Make me think XR GT though the shade appears different. If that's a production colours it's going to look classy. Deliberate? A Ford GT without the badge?

It actually looks close to acid rush from the BA series.

I think its might actually be a case of someone in the marketing dept knowing their history...or a complete fluke but...

Original GT, the XR, was Gold only.

The last V8 falcon, hero colour is gold and its a XR8. Thats all I got.

So XR8 gets dark grey mirrors with indicators in them and XR6 gets colour coded mirrors with no indicators in them.

Yep XR6 turbo or G6ET down the track for me. It looks classy, euro and phat at the same time. Can't believe how good those factory headlights look. This will stop people needing to mod headlights as they look awesome!! Will look good with a cooler hanging out the bottom of the bar and some coilovers ;)

Buy one. Tell the grandkids about how you owned the last Falcon.

Well done Ford.

NO BREMBOS on the gold XR8 though, those are just the standard brakes in the picture. Maybe they will just be an option after all.

Looking forward to the reveal Ford.
how much more agro do you want? it's certainly more agro looking than any FG.

Hey,

Ford fleet email with this gold pic up top, can't miss the frontal cues when you see the Mustang at the bottom of the email. Nice way to ease us in....easy to see the same approach in VF to the GM global design cues front and rear...but not in my mind that successful in that instance.

After looking at it a few times I was hoping the XR6 would look a little more aggressive but the 8 looks the business.

I think its just the camera angle the photo was taken at, hopefully new photos will do it justice

I guess this is the last time we'll get to compare a new Falcon to a new Commodore. Hopefully maturity prevails and we can show both cars a bit of respect.

XR6 looks very, very slick.

The angle of the XR6 pic is not doing it for me.
However the XR8 looks brilliant.

I know colour is playing a big role along with lighting, cgi etc, but the VF is holding it's own, especially XR6 v SV6.

Can't wait to see some G6E shots

Maybe it's the view or the colour, but I'm actually surprised by how much I like the XR6. It looks very classy and clean while still having some of the tough presence the XR range is supposed to have.

That XR8 though is an absolute winner. A couple of upgrades to the wheels/brakes may be all it needs to look absolutely stunning.
