Can wait to compare the bums....the VF in that comparison doesnt look any better or worse. From those angles they are both pretty good designs. But its the package and drivetrains that Ford always excels at that makes the biggest difference.

The XR6 versus XR8 pic is a prime example. The bonnet buldge is the only real difference, yet the overall look seems miles apart. The angle shown on the XR8 is clearly its best shot. The XR6 just seems very under stated (or under agressive etc)

Just witnessed a few variants coming off the line this morning, and I can tell you for a fact, they all look great.
The XR6T is stunning in the flesh, along with fantastic new wheels and the classiest rear end on any Ford I can recall. Wait till you see the seats, CLASS ACT. The G6E is bound to be just as big a hit from what I saw. I'll definetly be trading up from my current G6ET as will i imagine, many true blue supporters. Still some good times ahead with our favourite brand. |

Considering that stickers would be an easier accessory to develop, would love to see an option system like the last model Mustang, and have an awesome choice of wheels and sticker combos. Last Falcon......please Ford!!!!

I hope the XR8 has Paddle Shift Auto as the MY15 GTS is getting that also.

Apologies to all FGII GT Owners - you have an awesome car, but each-to-their-own on stickers! Some prefer none, and that's cool, too.

In the comparison pics I think the new falcon looks agressive while the commodore has a some what surprised look to it.

This new Falcon will celebrate 54 to 56 years of an Icon. It should respected with things like modernised-retro accesories like sticker packs

Perhaps the XT / base model has been scrapped and the line starts at the XR6 model?

XT will stay on.
One model gets the ditch... try and guess which one! the CGIs definitely let the car down in my eyes. The XR6 looks like a muffin bake with the way the wheels are outset and the way the tyres are sitting on the rim. Ford need to release QUALITY pics of the car in a tin shed, just like that video they did the other day. Something to the effect off, new XR8 spied at broadmeddows would have been good!

i for one think that picture of the XR6 is good has a sleek aggressive under tone to it, it looks peed-off the way the head lights dive in near the grill give it that look. don't blame it for feeling that way considering lol

Hopefully someone can confirm the V8 ute is on or off the table....thats a nasty sore to pick the scab off!!!! Ford/Sinead themselves I believe stated there was to be no V8 ute but that was some time ago......

i just wish Ford would please give us the designation of the model and spec level, it's getting really frustrating.

At least they've given more info far earlier in the release cycle than they did for the GTF. I actually think they've handled this one pretty well so far.
