Here's a scan of a photo of yours truly at Cape Leveque, that's the old restaurant with the lighthouse in the background.

I lived and worked up there for 3 years (94-97) at Cygnet Bay Pearls which is about 20mins away on the King Sound side of the peninsular. Back then it was a 3 hour trip from Broome on a good day if in the dry season with a freshly graded road, the longest i did was 8 hours near the end of the wet, no bitumen then lol...used to head over to Leveque on most weekends, beautiful spot.

Yep same here, the 650SS leaning up against shed was built in the lounge after the old girl decided enough was enough and departed years earlier, myself and the old fella didnt get on in later years but have to say the time spent with him mucking about with that bike was pretty special times for a young fella, fwiw after the Commando was sold he had a couple of Bevel drive Ducatis the first a silver/Blue 900 is imho the most beautiful motorcycle ever built not to mention the sound outta Contis.

After zooming in I note what looks like a Susuki Carry out front and the Tilers Toyota Dyna (Diahatsu Delta) further in, possibly Holden 6 powered by that era. Sillycar alongside the fence.

Nice angle parking BTW, wonder what smashed the screen. bricks ??

It's a 2 car accident, the red Ford has damaged back left rear quarter too, and a second vehicle has demolished 15 foot of brick to right of red Ford, already removed it! if you follow the wall all the way to right you look between bush far right, the windscreen is all over the road!
I'd say someone went through the screen, that's what I see!

Cheers Billy

Wouldn't mind one of those mid 70s Toyota Dyna's. Sort of goofy looking but in a nice way.
