Heya I'm from Darwin and new to the group.
Just looking for someone with any info or expertise on a matching numbers 1971 XY 302 Falcon 500 wagon in teal glow.
Minimal rust and finding it difficult to find anything on it. Have contacted Ford but I'm sure most of you will know it takes a while.
Be much appreciated

Howdy all.....again

Traded my 2003 Ice Mint BA years ago but stayed in here lurking for the entire time. Now my son has gone and done something silly and bought a ...... 2003 Ice Mint BA and then moved into the city where he doesnt need it and now wants me to fix it and sell it for him

The fun never stops. Havent seen it yet but sounds like the horn and auto has problems with a couple of oil leaks so I`m back to suck info from the forums.

Anyway its good to be back.

Cheers
Mick

Howdy Folks,
Thanks for letting me in! I'm looking forward to the banter and the valuable info! My rides are a knock about 09 WS Fiesta Zetec mk7 and a more lively 18 Focus RS mk3 Limited Edition. This much fun should be illegal!

I live in British Columbia Canada and have a 1993 Ford Festiva 2-door hatchback that i need some help with specifically from Australian experts. Hi All,

I just got a 2005 BF XR8 manual, that had been sitting in a shed in Townsville, for 10 years, owner got it up and running before selling it. In Sydney now, runs well, but I'll be changing all the fluids & coolant, before driving it hard.

Looking forward to the forum, and working out what was and wasn't done to the XR8

As a lockdown project I bought an ECU from a wrecker on eBay for $50, and hooked it up to my Arduino setup and was able to read the 17 digit VIN by hacking into the CAN bus with a C++ script, mode 9 pid 2.

The NEVDIS site confirmed that it was from a written-off 2009 FG Ford Falcon ute, eGas. I now want to overwrite the VIN and return the ECU to it's original factory state using my Arduino setup and was wondering if anyone here has done this? I assume I could probably do this with Forscan on Windows, but I am a MAC user and want to keep my costs down.
