The XD falcon is more simplistic and tougher looking. Falcon rear is generally simplistic and unsophisticated (AU was a departure and EF/EL with the jewel effect lights). |

Would look better without a badge I think.
Will reserve my judgment till I see better pictures or in real life.

I don't know what people are on about. I think it looks great. A clear step up.

Yes ..... they both have 2 lights. One on the right and one on the left with the number plate in the middle.
If anything, it is a little bit AUDI with some XF Jag thrown in ...... but it looks different enough, and I like it anyway.

Not the lights specifically, the wideness as it gets lower, like this: http://images.thecarconnection.com/l...00352971_l.jpg
I think its just the angle the Falcon photo was taken at. I don't mind it. If anything, I wish they'd done something a bit more upmarket for the front to go with the back. I don't like cars with a big upper grille and also lower. It looks too busy/confused. I wish they'd done something more like Audi... one single big grill top to bottom. |

It's called "Tumblehome" and is a common design trait on a lot of modern cars.

Removed G6E badge, darkened lights slightly (Ford's official tail light preview looked darker, I'm assuming XRs will get them) and changed the chrome bar to black. Ford needs to release some official photos asap, I think there is greatness in this rear end, we're just not seeing it in the lousy spy photo.
