How many people can the prosecutor hold accountable for the death of the 4 officers? As I read it, they're charging the driver and the company owner. Is the prosecutor attempting to hold multiple people account or does the buck stop with the person responsible for the fatalities?

The thing is You should not be killed for a simple traffic matter no matter if its.
In 2012 a young women's car broke down on the Hume Highway near Mittagong she was only 23 years old. A tow truck driver came to pick the car up and as he was doing that a passing courier truck with the driver not paying attention smashed into both of them killing them instantly. 30 years i was a professional driver and ten of those years was driving a truck and i never ran off the road into anybody because i kept my eyes on the road and not playing with my phone or what ever. |

Can't wait until he walks out the courtroom smirking and a free man, just to give it to the corrupt Vic grubberment, equally corrupt HWY patrol, brainless media, and all those who don't like anybody who are mildly more successful than they are.

Probably more to the point that he can afford a very good legal team.

He's hardly a model citizen, but during this incident it wasn't him that ploughed the semi into the coppers. Last thing anyone wants is a precedent being set here, that if a cop pulls you over, then you're accountable for anything that may happen to them (especially if you're financially a bit better off than average Joe).

I wonder how the media commentary and opinions from concerned citizens would have read if the Anglo bloke was in the truck and the migrant was the one pulled over.
Because as it stands, all I can see here is a bloke blindly ploughing a truck into Police whilst they pulled over a bloke guilty of many things, but most of all guilty of being a d**head, and owning a European sports car. Where’s the outrage for the gross idiocy displayed by Singh in the truck (particularly now with the latest information we have)? Or was his mindless effort ploughing through Police merely the result of him being oppressed or exploited by a villainous white privileged employer? Last edited by Danny; 06-10-2020 at 09:00 PM. Don't get me wrong, he is still a ********. Not because he is rich, but his record and actions show he is a ********. However he is not responsible for the truck driver crashing and killing the police officers.

Going off on a slight (large) track, I strongly believe judges should be held accountable for people they let out on bail. This bloke has a history and yet was caught again while out on bail. The judge who let him out should be held accountable. The rest of us are in our jobs, they should be no different.
I agree with Boss, I have no issues with people being rich, good on them, I’m even all for the, getting tax cuts. This guy is just a scum bag who shouldn’t have been allowed out of a cell till his hearing. |

Pusey's barrister said it. Not Pusey. It's not quoting Pusey himself stating HE is ashamed. It's just your standard comment from a barrister, what you would expect your barrister to say to the court. 'He is sorry', 'he is ashamed', etc. etc. Nothing to see here. Next. |

But yes there have been many cases of criminals on very serious charges that simply should not have been on bail. The Lindt cafe shooter for one. |

Four charges dropped "that never should have been laid in the first place" and more to go. Regardless of anyone's views on Mr Pusey, delays with justice like this are absolutely unacceptable and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets bail on Friday.

If you read between the lines you know what is happening and that is poetic justice which is very fitting for Mr Pusey, maybe if he was a decent person he would not have been put in his predicament. If people want to be a smart **** then get treated like a smart ****. |

My Pusey is entitled to his day in court, as is anyone else in the community. One of the main points here is that even if convicted, Mr Pusey will most likely not spend as much time in jail for the offences as what he's looking at simply with the delays in the court at the moment. It doesn't matter who it is, this is unacceptable. The way that the Victorian Police are handling this is, in my opinion, less than professional. The simple fact that four charges have already been withdrawn show this.

Of course he will have his day in court and no one denies that but in the meantime the due process takes it time like all other matters that can come before the law courts or have you not noticed that. He is not the first or last that could be held for a long time in remand while waiting for legal processes to be carried out. Last of all the police is not handling Mr Pusey case as it is being handled by a Magistrate, all the police did is lay charges against the man which will be handled by the courts.
