Turning the key of the XR8 will be no different to turning the key of a 2011+ FG GT (oh, I wonder if FZ will have keyless start, now that would be different) if I'm staring at the same dash while doing so, and seeing there will be no power upgrades and the chassis is the same, makes it that much harder to open the wallet to buy an FZ...

So we have seen either testing shots or cgi of XT XR6 XR8 G6E. I remember someone linked to ford on here saying one badge will go. Is it the G6?

I know what you mean, but the 'Falcon' badge was never deleted from the base model XT sedan or base model ute.

But that's been how Ford have differentiated the Falcon Ute from the Commodore. The Ford was more functional (one tonne payload, different trays) while the Commodore was usually better looking (the SS ute looks wonderful if I may say so myself). |

Im not sure if anyone else thought of this but I did a Vicroads Rego check on that white XT a couple pages back which actually gives a VIN so that can be ran on ETIS. I'll have to check that Black XR see if it shows anything.
This it what the ETIS check says for that VIN... Quote:

No SYNC in base model? Hope that is wrong as even a $15K Fiesta has it.

Clever sleuthing Sam. That is the longest list of points I have ever seen on an Etis sheet!

Do you think ford just chucked FG data into the system. Is that list identical to same spec FG?
Edit : ignore just noticed reference to less DRL and Sync. Damn

"Less lane keeping aid"? Does this meant that the high-end models will get it? Tis a great feature IMO.

6HP21 is the new version of the 6HP19. The 19 is rated at 400Nm, the 21 is rated at 450Nm.
