Hi All, Finally making my First Post/Welcome Message on the forum.

I have just bought myself a 2010 FG XR6 Sedan. I can see myself making a lot of posts on the forum with issues as it is a bit of a fixer upper.

Hoping to learn a lot here.

Hello and Gidday

I have a 2022 Transit, I used to have a 1973 Transit V4 dually as a roadie.
It had a hex shaft extending from the below the dizzie to drive the oil pump, the hex shaft eventually wore round,
So oil pump stopped so did van.

G'day all,

Have joined the forum as I've just inherited an AUII V8 Fairlane Ghia, which isn't running, and am looking forward to get it going and start with some simple performance upgrades like helping it breathe better, and eventually find the time to do some more serious ones! I look forward to reading what others have done and leaning on everyone experience.

Cheers

Hey all. Recently replaced my lash adjusters in my 98 EL. Upon putting it back together and expecting it to fire up, there was no spark anywhere to be seen so obviously didn't start :( any ideas and help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. It did start perfectly fine before pulling it apart, and everything worked as it should, but now won't fire, but cranks over fine.

Hello all.
I am a long-time older Ford owner.
I currently have a G6E turbo (2010).
I'm hoping to get some advice on best make/models of suggested replacement shock absorbers for this car.
I had some new ones fitted front/rear, but they seem far to harsh/hard a ride (compared to previous - have owned the car since new).
Any advice please ?
Thanks.

Hello! New-ish member here (just don't look at the join date). I'll be mostly active in the LR Focus threads, since that is what I own (well, something similar).

Cheers!

What a great project, I read someone in South Africa transplanted a 302 into a Capri, though a modern V6 would fly, good luck with it mate.

G'day all,

we have just taken ownership of a 2017 trend diesel escape with 149,000km.

Are there any recalls or particular things we should attend to or watch for?

We will change all oils filters and belts at 150,000km of course.

thanks for any tips,

Ray

Hi all you Ford Lovers I am new to this website and of course that's why I am saying hello I would like to put out a post however I am having trouble working out how this is done I need help from someone who can clearly explain how to make a post on the forum.
I contacted the forums customer service and this is the reply I got back from them.
You can only post in sub-forums as the top level ones are only placeholders.I don't even know what this means???
There are video tutorials in the site support area on how to use the forum functions
I cant find the site support area??? can someone please help me through this maze.

Hi, not sure how to post or ask a question re: workshop manual for my 1998 ford festiva wf b5 engine. Pressure Washed the engine, air dryed plugs/dizzy cap, ran it for 20 mins, disconnected battery and charged overnight, wouldn't start next day, no spark. need to go through tests to see what's the issue. Thanks for any help. Can't find a manual anywhere.

Gday fellas, New member here just got an issue with my FG Ute dedicated LPG. She's a weapon of a work ute but up till recently has had issues firing on a heated engine? When I crank her over in morning fires straight off the bat but when heated she cranks on and on. Eventually fires but it's super annoying. I have a feeling it's an injection issue? The LPG converter is a Vialle type which is round a year and half old. Any help is much appreciated,Cheers,

Have you 'googled' online Ford owners manuals, it may be there if you quote your car's statistics, I know my Ford Territory ownders manual is online.
