Why is it that the AFL is going all out to promote and grow the AFLW but channel 7, the home of ‘footy central’ can’t find the space on their 6 stations to broadcast half the games? But reruns of ‘Who’s The Boss’ can get a gig

You’ve just washed your car and dried it nicely...
Then you are behind someone on the freeway at 100Kms per hour, who decides to clean their windscreen with washer jets so powerful it also sprays over their roof onto your water spot free duco. |

I thought you were going to say it bucketed down with rain, which usually happens to me... and then you get on a road near a new estate, where mud-carters have been up & down a million times, and everything gets covered in crap.

I saw one yesterday speed in the local foodland car park, music blaring, take the closest park to the shop, and park 3 inches away from the car to his left in his 200 dollar corolla. Making it impossible for the driver of the 30000 dollar car to get in. When the he got out he was still head banging to the music.

Why is it that counter sales people give preference to phone callers when there's a dozen people standing in line?

Why is it.......
On the freeway, sticking to the left, behind 2 other cars, because the exit is 500m ahead, and there's nobody behind (in the left lane) for a good 400m. Why does the drop kick in the 4WD in the right lane overtake (creeping past), then put the blinker on & expect you to slow down to make a gap to let them in. WTF is wrong the massive gap behind? |

Why is it some of the minor things in life are racist towards us left handed people? Spiral bound note pads are one of them. The first part of every line is useless as the spiral is in the way of your hand. And forms on clip boards, who ever hands you the form (forms in landscape not portrait) always puts the clip on the wrong side. I wouldnt even say its a 1st world problem as note pads are available everywhere.

And charge a premium as the volume is only about 1/10th of right-handed stock. Cha-ching.

Why is it.... that people don't think road rules apply when they're on a pushbike on the road?
Now I will clarify - I'm not talking about the daily commuter cyclist, or the regular road rider that's usually kitted up in safety gear, flashing lights etc. This is more of the "casual cyclist" I'm aiming this at. This is not the first time I've seen it, but today is the first time I've seen someone get pulled up for it. This morning, a cyclist (well, more a bogan on 2 wheel pedal pusher than a cyclist as such) was pedalling along at 20km/h in the left lane of a multi-lane road. No helmet, in thongs & shorts, holding a mobile phone to his ear. Each red light he'd ride perilously up between cars with one hand on the handlebars, wobbling away, then across the crossing (against the don't walk sign) and then proceed onto the road once more - only to have all those cars have to go around him yet again, before the next red light, then repeat. At the 3rd red light, we caught up to him - in the left lane, where a motorbike cop had pulled him up. As we went past, all I could hear was "F-you bloody copper pig, I'm on an F-ing pushbike, I can talk on the f-ing phone & you can't do f-ing nuffin" Surely most people would realise if you can't talk on a hand-held phone on a motorbike, or in a car on the road, then the same would apply to a pushbike? He would still get done for no helmet, but that would be a pittance (not sure on points - if there's any) compared to the fine for a phone. |

Why is it that whoever puts the labels on gloves prior to sale, does so in a fashion that prohibits you from trying them on for size?
Why is it that about 10mtrs past all the garden gloves, on the other side of the work boots, in the gardening aisle at Bunnings, on the shelf just above my eye height ( approx 6.5 ft ) all by themselves, there’s a bag of 10 pairs of gloves for $7? almost identical to 1’s in the main glove section for $8 a pair.. |
