Probably someone bolted those bits on, put the Herrod sticker on the side and conned the bloke. Doesn't make sense for Herrod to tack on Tickford stuff with no performance improvement whatsoever, for a dual fuel wagon especially.

A Fairlane being offered for wrecking, but has an interesting chrome treatment around the front and rear lights, wheel arches and B pillar, some other things.

Interesting extra door courtesy lights?

Wooden air intake box?

Hey guys and gals. Got some superlow rear springs and shocks for sale from my XR8. Price is indicative only, I'd be happy to get a reasonable offer for them

Quite a mix-mash of a car there, even with painted headlights. I really like the whitewalls, I think they work well on this car. What is it about the rear seats which gives it away? Lack of LTD emblem?

Different leather Andrew, different colour, no logos in the leather as you mention and not to mention the lack of 'curtin' leather door trims.

That is just the back seat. Front, different woodgrain colour, and no LTD steering wheel are also give aways.

And of course the lack of clear on the lower rear tail lights and boot garnish.

Damn wannabes!

Cheers

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the colour looked right. The photos seemed dark. I love those curtain door trims.

1998 S1 Fairmont in Canberra. Under 200K km. Current bid price is $12. Looks reasonably tidy. Will inspect if anyone is serious.

Yeah saw it on Book face Andrew. What an abomination! Fancy spending all that money on interior and bodywork only to leave stock brakes on it - they look tiny! Each to their own I guess! Certainly aimed an a very individual taste.

OK, it has Ticky premium brakes, but it still does not look right. Bloody LTD/TL50/GT wannabe. Definitely has an identity crisis!

Cheers

Very nice otherwise - love the colour. Sandstorm, isn't it? Quite rare, and such low kms.

Nice indeed. I never seen one in sandstorm before. Only black, white and liquid silver!

was it a 6 or 8 - could not see that in the add. $17K is definitely a bit pricey for this.
