Here's a question - can the pushbike rider be breath tested if they're riding on a public road? And would DUI laws apply? On a motorbike they would, and a drunk cyclist presents a serious danger not only to themself, but others on the road who have to avoid them.

Never had helmet laws when I was a kid, but then there wasn't any cars during the 70's oil crisis.

Even worse when the local bobby comes around for a cup of tea and waiting till you get home.. He says nothing...just smiles and says 'see you later'....then dad rips into you and confiscates keys and licence....never did like that officer, but to see him clear a 6' fence chasing a yobbo one day was impressive.

Why are zooper doopers $6 at the supermarket? They are cordial packed in tubes by machine, transported and stored in the shop without refrigeration, and are non perishable.
It's the australia tax, got you over the barrel when it's 40 deg....

Why is it that the search function of this forum is so bad?
Why is it that every morning around 4am this forum refuses to load? Everything else on my phone that requires the internet works perfectly, even other tabs in the same browser, just not this forum. Last edited by Lunch; 21-02-2018 at 04:41 AM. |

Double post.
Although I’m not sure how, a screen loaded up saying I couldn’t post twice in 10 seconds but it loaded my accident anyway.... why is that? Last edited by Lunch; 21-02-2018 at 04:40 AM. |

Either hands/arms flailing around, or from personal experience when I had an offset head-on in a BAII, the column collapses enough into the dash to force the wiper & headlight wands toward the driver - in my case holding on the high beam, and running the washer motor and wipers continually. The washer bottle was AWOL, so the motor started squealing because it was running dry. The fuel cut killed the motor, but the wash/wipe didn't stop until I turned off the key.

Why is it that a half-decent looking girl on the train can pick something out of her ear, examine it at length and flick it onto the floor but I can't do the same with my nose?

Side note - the half-decent looking girl part doesn't really make any sense to me. If it makes sense to you it's probably because you subconsciously (maybe consciously?) give them a pass for behaviour that you wouldn't give an ugly girl. |

Why is it that on the days you wake up feeling awesome, they're usually the days that end in near total disaster.

Why is it that the manufacturers of yogurt containers insist on putting ridges in the bottom which makes it nigh on impossible to get the last bits of yogurt out?

It's so there's sufficient remnants to stink out the entire lunch room when the cleaners forget to empty the bin on a friday night.....
