It'll get here when it gets here and it will be worth the wait.

Weather they change the drive line or not the changes made need to go through testing and sign off. Parts don't appear out of thin air and something like a new taillight needs coordination to be built and passed.
Everything needs to be verified that its going to work....and if it doesn't some stuff isn't that easy to change and it takes time. Even if the car came out like not much has changed from a visual sense you don't know whats gone on underneath.

not to mention supplier contracts etc. ford have shown over the last year or so that they do have a reasonable amount of business ethics.

For everyone that has put renditions on this car as a concept for the 2014 Falcon, I dont believe it will happen as this has already been revealed as a Mustang in America...

if the falcon is going to look a bit like that , I'd buy one for sure.
I hope the falcon shares the same sharp lines along the doors. they'll probably come out with the models as follows XT, XR6, XR8 , G6, G6E, G6E TURBO. They will follow on with the ecoboost motor and utilize the 5.0 S/C unit for the XR8. seeing that FPV is now been absorbed into ford. |

The guy there is an idiot, the lack of new model Mondeo/Fusion has nothing to do with the 2015 Falcon. It would only take him 10 secs to research the fact that Europe hasnt even started building the new Mondeo yet.

Yep, and of course the minor little detail about having to change assembly plants and get the CD4 compliant with Euro regs don't mean anything do they...

Just had a scan through some of the text and pictures. There are a few "spy" pictures in there and a couple of clear ones too.
One of what looks to be an XR front grill with has provisions for a badge to be mounted on it. If its the real deal, it looks like the XR badges are changing. The current curvy font does not fit the new cut-outs. Look more like an itelic version of ED XR badges. Another shot is a side on shot, showing front fender, rear view mirror and a glimps of the dash all covered up. Side mirror is identical to FG. Guard indicator is covered up, so could be a vent/indicator setups. Guards looks to be identical to FG and front is covered with a heavy car bra. Wheels are current XR 18's in black so it must be recent. Bonnet is all cover up so cant see much. If they are the real deal, looks very much like FG. Does not look like it will be a dramatic change in term of panel changes from doors forward (much less then VE to VF) from the pictures. I can copy the pictures and post them here, but don't want to upset anyone

Actually, no. Have a good look at it and then you'll see the difference.
What it is I don't know yet but there is a change. EDIT: Here, I've circled it. Standard FG mirror doesn't have this bit and the High series has a repeater above this bit (but doesn't have this bit either)

Mirror is the same its just the reflection off the road.
Indicator should be the same as the TX Territory on base models, or very similar. He also posted a pic of the headlight with LED DRL's fitted, bit different to the original one floating around.

Could be LEDs but then again there looks to be something orange under the guard cover?

It could be anything. You’d think it would be too small to be a repeater, and like you said that car has an orange lens on the side panel. It could be for something else? There was a rumour that the new Falcon was supposed to get things like lane keeping aid and blind spot alert, could it be something to do with that?? 360 degree parking cameras? Parking sensor for park assist? Speed camera jammer?

Sorry guys but in that pick it's a black base with the reflection on the road.
You can see the white sideline marking of the road reflecting in the black base of the mirror. Nothing new. However, are those side wents being covered up????
