My Ghia is off the road atm, there is something wrong in the steering we believe and I don't particularly want to take it anywhere.

Driving along at 80 the car feels like it slips either left or right, seems like something is loose. It has done about 160km's since a 4 wheel alignment and noticing a slight shuffle but nothing too serious. It didn't do it before so I am assuming they forgot to do something up? or busted something?

could be your steering rack, or badly aligned.
