That Black XR8 is growing on me, sligth stance drop on some staggered 19/20's and it would be pretty tidy.
Going to be genuinely hard to pick between this and a Stang next year, good problem to have. |

I'd do the whole mock-up, including GT badges - the FG side skirts would fit, etc

Found a couple of FGX Falcons today in my travels, enjoy:
G6E Ecoboost: XR6T Ute: Before the whinging starts that there are no trim photo's,I'm sorry but I couldn't get any and that's all I'm saying on that. I was surprised though, the changes made make it very nice inside imo.

What did the rear of the G6E look like up close? Were you happy / unhappy with it in the flesh?

When Ford released the CGi's, I really liked the car, but part of me was a bit hesitant. Now I've seen real life photos I'm 100% hooked. New ute for me...

Christ that front is horrible.
Dare I say it's up there with the VF.

Does it seem that the rear bumper on the G6E protrudes quite a lot now?

The F6 ute in the background looks pretty tough compared the FGX.

I would so have run up to them for an interior shot. Can we tell from these?
The colour on the G6E is the colour I want on my XR8! And the G6E is a good looking piece of kit, including the rear.

Not liking it 1 bit, doesn't gel with the middle part if the car. The front looks too flat and shark like. Rear is..meh
Just my opinion though

To be fair my ute (the f6) is lowered and fitted with a hump.

You can see where they get the FGX name from now. The rear of the Ute is totally the FG and the front is the 'X'.
When you think about it it is a very fitting name for a car that was looking to the future, but had it's feet firmly planted in the past. |

I'm pretty disappointed. Been refreshing this page like a 100 times a day since the initial teaser shots. Doesn't do it for me. As was said about, the front and rear are completely different from one another and they also don't fit the door profiles IMO.
I just don't get what look they were going for. The front is squared off with the trapezoidal grille and the square headlights and DRL's, but the back is all rounded off. WTF?

I think the problem is we still see the FG design and the FGX front and rear look like they don't belong.
We need time to see the FGX as a design in it's own right. I thought the same about the VF initially (the front and rear looked weird), now I see it as it's own design. And it looks better than I first thought.
