hey poppa I get this issue all the time. First I'm guessing you've already tried to lift the legs by spinning the bottom section of the legs clockwise. If that failed I've propped up the Oven then got my stainless manufacture to make a false kick plate to place over the front of the legs so you get a stainless finish for the full front. looks the goods.
Hope that helps |

yep tried winding the legs right in but I'm still too high, I just went to our local kitchen manufacturer and bought new shorter legs.
of course once she who would possess all things expensive found out the cupboards could be dropped to 850 mm there was no talking her out of it, "They would have been too high anyway!". Given i am sticking to the original standard height then they would have been no different to what we had before, but there is no arguing with her.......I simply obey. However it may be for the best, she is roughly 5' 3" and may have found the bench top a bit high. I don't like the idea of the stove sitting on top of timber or something that may give way over time, the oven door is very heavy, the stove is 900 wide, I do a lot of cooking with my grandkids, nothing fancy, just cakes, scones, pasties, pie's that sort of thing. My littlies love to open the door to have a peek and sometimes it gets opened a little bit faster than it should, I would hate to see it slide forward and come off the blocks. there have been instances of one little bloke sitting on the open door of the oven, good job the thing weighs a ton. (well bloody heavy anyway)

I'd always assumed that "600mm" ovens were a STANDARD size for a reason. Apparently not. Whipped out the old 600mm oven (guts was exactly 600mm wide with generous trim alround) plonk in the new German moneypit, and the whole flaming thing, including the surrounds, is only 595cm. Now I have to run ******* beads down each side. Also, I bought a "pair" exactly as displayed (Oven and M/wave.) Only its not a ******* pair is it. The micro won't even sit on the flaming oven, I have to build a seperate shelf for it to sit on. No wonder they lost two world wars. |

if there is one thing I have learned from this kitchen is never to assume, nothing is what it seems.
but anyway sheer ignorance and a good hammer will prevail over most builds. why do fools park so damn close behind at a hardware store, his front bumper was hard on my tow ball????????? why do they think I am there?, just a quick trip down to pick up some 100mm reveal and a bit of architrave, 3 mtr lengths fit nicely in the boot and up through the tunnel, makes it hard when some peanut parks right up my clacker and I can't get straight on to the boot. I parked right out to buggery away from everyone else so I could get a free run at the boot, heaps of carparks anywhere you look, but no, had to park right up my clacker. never mind, his bonnet made a good rest for my timber while I dragged it in to the boot, few nice scratches on his vehicle to "remind" him to leave a little room next time.

Short sink taps.
People who don't check their animals for fleas, thus giving my dog fleas. People who don't neatly arrange their cupboards, which in turn makes it impossible to add/remove things without either throwing it on top or have to do a mini-rework yourself. Neatness makes space! |

Probably means that a tree has fallen over on their property and they want you to cut it and take it away

I got on to a good one the other day, there was a block being cleared for a new house, and they were dropping a few good size trees, and it was just going through the chippa, I stopped had a chat and for a carton got my self a nice supply that should do a winter or two in a few years when its seasoned off all cut in to 8' lenght's and delivered to my place in the back of their tipper. I'll spend a weekend cutting it up in to more managable size chinks and let it age before splitting it When the truck arrived the guy accross the road came over to see the contractors about doing the same at his place, so I may get some more in a few months

asked for some meranti single bull architrave to be delivered, when it turned up it would not have looked out of place on the nose of a gypsy moth, I could have drilled postholes with it.
other pieces, I swear, if I threw them they would have knocked the flying doctor down and come back and hit me in the back of the head. I told him to take it back and bring me straight stuff, he reckoned sorry mate you take it as it comes, I told him if I am buying at first class timber rates then I expect first class timber???? that stuff was useless and their problem........waste of time. if they had taken the trouble to stack it correctly this would not happen, why the hell should I pay top dollar for their ineptness.

Second hand wheel adds on just about every site that says in very good/excellent condition....then with usual gutter rash??????
Ebay. just before christmas i purchased an item that had pick up available or $25 postage. i decided to pay $10 in petrol to go get it, but when i contacted the seller to get his address he said i could only pick up after i deposited the $25 postage into his account. He had already agreed for pick up so I contacted ebay they are able to read our communications and told me to leave him negative feedback and would take no action against me.
