If its the one I'm thinking of, that plate is pretty distinctive, its nice to finally see it on the road again after spending many years sitting in a carport close to my old house. He said he was going to get it going again...

Saw another clean Starion today, a white one.
Starting to think they don't belong in this thread.
Also saw a bright orange XD and a tidy brown XE wagon.

Spotted a Fairlane Millennium Edition today.

Only 250 of these were made between December 1999 and April 2000. Based on the Fairlane Ghia it included -

-Tickford 17 inch wheels
-Alarm
-Smoked quartz headlamp bezels
-'Millennium' embossed leather front seats
-Wood grain switch surround
-Free 2 year/50,000 scheduled servicing

At the time it was $3800 worth of extra's. Available in Sparkling Burgundy, Liquid Silver and Congo Green.

I remember that, Ford was going to do a millennium Falcon special edition too.
No points for guessing why it never happened.

I dont know how you price that thing but its fricken cool.

Bit like a T series, really cool car but not a huge market outside Ford nuts. Poor EA will need a ford nutter to buy it.

A bit like beta vs VHS, I think.
Hard to make a revolutionary (boom, boom) change in a big industry.
I remember a Lotus (maybe Esprit, or similar) with quad JJD’s on the back.

These were a real precursor to run-flats!

vbvbvb088: I saw the 120Y in Brunswick St, Fitzroy North, so it is probably the one you saw (I didn't get the number plate).

Yesterday I saw a Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo, looking very nice in black and full reg, personalised plate. (Wasn't sure what the car was at first). I took a quick photo of the front and was going to have a better look when I walked back but it was gone.
