Really wish the XR's didnt have grey side mirrors, they look so out of place, why can't they be colour coded!?!

IMHO, would have been best to just have mirror indicators across the range. They'll mostly be out of a job anyway, so who cares, right?

Wildly attractive looking vehicles, even in that horrible grey colour the G6 is wearing. At least it isn't silver, I guess

So just buy G6E/G6ET mirrors and badge thing and it will be happy days! The new rims on the ute also look pretty groovy...but for me definitely get the XR8 as the front is better than G6 and brembos and GT rims FTW! (oh and the killer whinnneeeeee) lol |

Well I dont think all XR models have the amber side indicators, if this is an XR6 turbo then I guess the XR6 and XR6T get the cheapo look whereas the XR8 going by the official pic released by Ford shows a much classier chrome spear on the side and a side idicator bulb in the mirror.

Can someone change the blue XR to white please
Like I said before I think, the colour will make the car. The black car with chrome grill looks good. The black grill needs a lighter colour car. |

So we have a FGX ute that's ummm, a FG?... With a nose that looks totally out of place on a 7yr old tub & turret?
A 270kw turbo 6 & ZF that is now.. How old? 9, 10 years? Totally lost a loyal Ford ute buyer here! Either keep my XR50t or I'm jumping camps.

Seems a bit confusing to me now that the 6 is red. I always liked that the red distinguished performance on the 8 and the TURBO badges but now the 6 is going to be red on both the N/A and Turbo or just the Turbo? Why not just stick to the way it has always been done!

It's a ute, you put your tools in the back, maybe your dog, get roped in to helping your mates move, do wicked burnouts and when ya to drunk to drive home you've got somewhere to sleep. Besides all this old crap they are trying to pass as new didn't seem to bother ya when you bought ya XR50T, just sayin |

I cropped and rotated that G Series pic from earlier in the thread, and to me the new face of Ford chrome grill actually looks more aggressive than the Black mesh style one they are using on the XR. The car in that pic actually looks like it is snarling at you.

Why so many undisguised cars so far from launch? Ford are seriously watering down the impact of a new model IMHO.
