In backyards in the suburbs of Brisbane in the 90's Young blokes would hit em with lighter fuel, set em alight and whack em with a number 1 or 2 wood out onto the main road, fair dinkum, you may have 20 at a time crossing ya back yard if you lived near a drain especially, but that was then?..........

My pretty neighbour sent it to me, it's to do with some strange social media game, challenge, I watch a thing called TikTok on her iPhone and it's very odd behaviour, but that being said she is allowing me to put a few pics later on of me rubbing oil into her feet and legs, so see how I go tonight!

Reminded me, nearly 60 years ago growing up in Hervey Bay (on the coast from Maryborough Qld.) put a digging fork through one pinning it to the ground. In the morning pulled the fork out and the thing hopped away !

I run over what I thought was a cat sitting in the middle of the road, it was south of Cairns in 1978, I stopped of course being a cat lover, but I stop for any injured animal .
But to my surprise and shock it was a cane toad!...would of been 10 inches high whilst sitting, being the personw I am I shoved it off the road in case a motorbike hit it, and as I picked it up it stirred, had my welding gloves on, as I put it down on the shoulder of the road it just sort of hopped away!......talk about tough and hard to kill, but it was its sheer size that amazed me, left me in a shocked daze, weighed as much as a small cat, maybe 4 kg!

It deserved to live, when I got back to Innisfail were I was working and living in a local pub, just near Mourilyan Sugar Mill, the locals said to me "oh, ya got a baby one"..........geez, a baby one.

Woop Woop in not in the NT, it was a milling town near Wilga, but all Aussies know its just a saying, like back o Bourke or the Black Stump, but this toad was a monster, big and ugly, but real!

Hey thanks Jaydee, did 15 years of racing with my son in this pic, this was from Sunday just gone. We went in blind with his dad but with Arlo we know what were in for and how to train/teach him properly. His dad is pretty handy on a dirt bike and looks like it has been passed down. The main thing is we are going to keep it fun for him....Cheers mate.
