I used to love black interiors, the XD I had in the mid 90's had one and it looked awesome, mainly because it was 1996.

Times have changed. Black interiors were popular in the 70's before all but disappearing, they came back with a vengeance in the 2000's, but now its 2014, and black is just so damn boring... (IMO)

Heres a dodgy chop of the XT.
With the doors being identical, will the front and rear changes be enough for the market to say "yes" this is a new falcon?

I don't think those taillights will be correct. I believe, based on the pictures, that it will be more like the new Mondeo: look at the slight bulge where the taillight is in the spy pic:

Then compare that to the Mondeo taillight:

Must agree there. I love my all black interior on my FG, but just something about this interior that looks awesome.

I saw that white prototype sitting out the front of PD today, but was too far away to take a close look. They generally dislike people snooping around them anyway.

That cashmere colour combination was popular in the G Series wasn't it? It's certainly the colour combination (or similar) I'd be looking at in 2016 if I can convince myself that I need a FH G6ET...
Sorry but that is revolting.

Not at all. The EF/EL had indicator and reverse lamps down the bottom. The spy pic resembles the NF/NL fairlane taillamp, one of the best looking rear ends a Falcon derivative has ever had.

I think he was referring to the Jag on the previous page.

I took a photo of it at Movieworld a few weeks ago. They have it on display whilst the Ford Smart Drive event is on. It was there last year as well when they had the Smart Drive on. They also had a chrome Fiesta on display both times.

So I'm guessing when Ford is finished in Melbourne, they'll do a run at Dreamworld.

Woodgrain, chrome and beige seats is beautiful. When tastefully applied, those elements adds a whole new dimension of class to the interior. Which is why I don't like the trend these days of eschewing woodgrain for aluminium or piano black.

I know that is tongue in cheek but it might interest you to know that I prefer the grey leather that I have in our fg mkII XR6T over that vomit inducing interior.
