Hey guys, finally made a post. It was good to see the massive turn out and an amazing array of fine au's. Thanks to everyone involved who made it happen in particular Shane, bloody A1 job. All the awards were well deserved and I look forward to the next one.

Where to start. What a great weekend. It was great to get together in such a relaxed environment with the family and spend a day with people from these forums. We all share a common interest, and its great that we can come together in this way.
I will start I guess by saying sorry to the owner of the blue ute that broke my fall from not watching where I was going. I gave the tonneau cover a clean and hopefully all is ok. I am sincerely sorry. Well my shin is sorry the most. Dam that hurt. To the group of guys I travelled with. Simon, Bec, Dennis, Andrew & Adam. With all that happened on Friday, thank you for your perseverance. I quietly going mad, but in the end, its worked out well. The dinner last night was great, but seriously, who visits the same restraunt 20 minutes after leaving the first time. I hope you guys worked off that desert : . It was great to meet both of you, and I hope that my little one wasn’t too much to handle. I won’t apologize to Adam, as he was the one who turned him into the monster he is today. Thanks buddy To St Georges Motor Inn. Thanks for cancellation. But no real harm done. We managed to stay somewhere. I apologize for the changes, but shyte happens. I thought 4 bookings would be better than none. But I do understand where you are coming from. Again, sorry for the what had transpired. I take full responsibility. Shane. As the founder and driving force behind AU Falcon, it is you who is most passionate about the AU and providing an environment to where we love to come and be a part of. Mick. What a pleasure. You’ve helped to put together a great day and I am very happy that I made the trip to Melbourne. You’re a top guy. But your taste in music sux. : All I could here was your doof doof music on the way to photo shoot. That was a great way to finish of the day. Great idea. SFR Rob. At last we met. You’re a bit bigger and scarier than I thought. But then I remembered you drive a BA, so it all started to make sense. Seriously thou, it was good to finally meet you. DeathXR, congrats on your win, and tell your partner that the food was cooked to perfection. George (GK) Thank you for dropping past the hotel and the beers. It was nice to be greeted on our arrival into Melbourne. Next time, can you leave you daughter at home? She’s too forward with my young bloke. I’m not ready to be a father in law yet. He’s only 5 : Just joking. She’s a little treasure. Goran - Thankyou for the phone call and for coming to the hotel yesterday morning. We were there, you just didn’t see us. You should put your seat up higher. A big thankyou for cutting me a DVD with your footage and dropping it off to us at Herrods this morning. I will be checking it out shortly. Appreciate you taking some time to do that for me. OzFordAU. Great to finally meet you and it was great to have you along last night for the photoshoot. It was a good night and a top spot selected. I look forward to those pics. BJMXR – The cruise was fantastic. It was good to be a part of it. Well planned and executed. Rob Herrord – Thankyou to John and yourself for taking time out of your day to spend some time to talk to us and show us your workshop. It was great to have you guys talk to us about the cars in the workshop and find out a little about whats happening at Herrods. They are so many people to thank for the weekend. I’ve forgotten a few people. It was great to see so many AU’s on display. Not sure if after meeting Whoosha (Good job on the bling buddy) I will ever be the same again. I met so many other people, I can’t remember them all. Most of all, it was a fantastic trip, and I look forward to doing it again next year. Took me 7 hours from Melbourne to my driveway. Half hour stop at Albury. I guess I should also thank the girl with the ripped jeans. Her bottom was poking out. A nice bottom it was too. Photo's to come

I must admit I was feeling a little melancholy at missing out on a prize in the wagon comp, but was consoled a little later today when I saw the list. Hey I got 2nd place in my first competition! (I did spend over 10 hours cleaning it over 3 separate days) but I now conceed that AU Wagin's looks very nice, with those rims and all, and nice body kit. In any case he deserved to get something for coming from interstate! LOL! And considering that I left before the judging began, well I was pretty blessed to get something at all. I did stick my car in the judges faces before I left though, just to stimulate their thinking! : Where was I going with this before my competitive nature took over the typing? Aaahh yes, those pics look great, even the wagon! LOL! Bling bling! GK
