Apart from the 19x9" rims with 275 Rears, the XR8 is the ONLY one to get "Performance tuned suspension"....Sounds like R-Spec !

I thought they might at least finally give the last territory the FG interior handles, as crap as they are.

The standard GT and F6 never had Brembo calipers on the rear either. They come with a 4 piston Brembo caliper on the front and a larger single piston PBR caliper on the rear with a vented rotor.

Emporer red being the only red is disappointing.

To those trying to justify power figures and what the XR8 may or may not have try looking at that 'exhilaration' its all current model FGII data (the photo sorta give it away).
If you look at kerb weights it state the weight of the XR8 with 'petrol 6 cylinder engine'. Perhaps its a NA 6 in the XR8 :P Seriously wait for more info, no power figure has been announced that I can see on any of the models (or gearbox options for that matter)

I'm sure they're ramping it all up in a cold launch/soft launch kind of way, in preparation for something nicer down the line. |

I want to, but by the time I get around to it (2016) it will probably be second hand as the only option. I promised myself (and my bank account) that I would hold on to my F6 for ~5 years.

Not me, I think, unless the price is amazeballs. Test drove an SSV Sportswagon fairly recently, and I don't think I can go back to a sedan as my daily driver. However if my earning capacity takes a sudden upwards trend, then all bets are off Last edited by AU1XLS; 10-09-2014 at 04:21 PM. |

XR8 Weight is interesting, listed as 1861 Kg, however if you press the ref # (15) it says 1861 kg for the Manual, and 1776 kg for the auto !
The Auto is lighter in the XR6T as well. probably has not been proof read ? |

Why would the tow rating be less for the XR8 than the XR6T?

Speaking of milkshakes do we know if they have done anything about the milkshake maker (transmission)?

So no problems with milkshakes at all. You just need to learn how to drive it, then you have very smooth gear changes, with no rollover noise either once the right oil has been put in. |
