mmmm actually race series headers in hpc are $790 and non hpc $645

Whilst the extractors are bloody expensive (compared to some), the HPC coating is pretty cheap...

It normally costs about $200 to have a set of extractors coated, but these are coated for only $145.

According to an article on the development of the EB XR6 in AMC, Ford/Tickford looked at using extractors but the gain was only 3kW so they decided against it. Didn't specify what type of extractors however - and I wouldn't assume that ones available now would be better than what those guys could come up with.
