Depends how good rubber you want really, I usually drive my EL on just on road worthy second hand tyres which cost me $40 each.... I know the rims themself were expensive to buy, but the up keep, those tyres are fine for me

The third pic I posted looks a bit weird, had 14" stockies on the back 3rd gear burnouts and 4th in the wet!

The 4th and last pictures are of when it was sitting high (stock superlow height)

Lets face it people, we didnt all buy an E-Series because they will eventually appreciate in value or for their startling performance/handling!

I say if someone wants to have stockies good on them! They arent the fools who are throwing away $$$ everytime they wanna have some wheelspin fun or accidentally nudge a gutter and have a cry. I guess my main reason for not having a nice new set of 19" rims/tyres is the fact that i cant justify spending the $3000 to put on cars that are worth $1000-$2000. I would rather go on a cool holiday than flash new rims about chapel st.

Hmmm..... Anyone agree with me?

All I have to say is that stockies look better than any CSA 16" wheels, and IMO probably look better than most different types of after market rims that people have on these forums, i've noticed most falcon owners don't have a very good taste when it comes to choosing wheels.

I dare say most cars here need 205/65 R15 to have any sort of fun. No dice with decent 245s.

no offence, the dress rims make it look worse in my opinion. makes the car appear higher and the wheels smaller.

agreed to a certain extent, but given the e-series is hard to find a fitting set of wheels for then I can almost let it go... thus why I bought common yet sexy rims

I've only used 235's on my car, but I'm betting 245's would spin no dramas

Dislike or like EL GT's, it's a plain and simple fact that they are far better looking and appealing to a set of black steelies dude, no matter what you're interested in:P
