When I went onto Facebook after the race, there were a few bitter Holden supporters rubbishing Ford. They really are a bunch of bad losers spoilt of winning.

Hmm..."the amount of Holdens that got beaten"...
Careful with that...only three out of the top ten were Falcons, and after the winning Falcon, the second to sixth place were all Commodores, then you have to wait until seventh and ninth for a Falcon again...I think just saying "Ford won" would be better... If I was a Holden supporter (actually, I'm an "anything" supporter), I wouldn't be whinging that Ford got first...I'd be making a big deal out of the rest of the cars behind it being Commodores... |

It was good to see minimal safety cars, retirements and crashes. A great race. Result was awesome.

Don't know what they have to complain about. Prob the fairest race in history qudos to all the drivers. Didn't expect whincup to move over at let Reynolds past last year. Likewise Frosty held his ground this year .

It is not that often we get a win at Bathurst, through "stupid bad luck" at times, we dnf or finish 2nd. But this year ALL FORD fans should let their hair down and brag, brag big time! We don't get this chance too often, so let it be known. 2013 Bathurst winners are................... |

with the number of cars they had it's no surprise! they outnumbered Ford 3 to 1 . like in any battle if you have much greater numbers you chances of victory are greater . Holden haven't won all these years only by having a better can and / or driver but by sheer weight of numbers

I cant remember a field that was not only dominated by Holdens, but past multiple winners.
David vs Goliath, and Goliath got owned again.

The whole race seemed to be in three or so segments with 4 cars hammering up front with quite a gap back to the pack .. Still up here had big winds which blew away most tents .. Some can't drive home due to drinking too much !! It's raining now. ..

FROSTY FROSTY FROSTY FROSTY......the frosty chanting was the greatest thing ever. I thought tanders dive bomb move on bright was deff in character and totally unsportsmanlike. Ford now has 4 Bathurst wins from the past 8 so seeing as they are way outnumbered and out cashed.......it's a stunning effort. There were some exceptional drives in there today. |

Iknow both lownders and whingcup arwe good drivers but what about the rest of the other 26 drivers in the v8 super cars, some did not even get a mention during the race or coverage, only at the grid line up. I cried when FROSTY won so happy, followed him for years. V8 Supercars is not what it used to be, for one not enough cars should be about 36 make it more exciting, and maxiumum of say 8 cars per manufacturer. mercs are going to be strong next year. |

What a top race, I'm so glad I chose yesterday to be my first time back to the mountain since 2000.
As I said in my Bathurst tips n tricks thread my dad took me for the 1st time when I was 12 and as my son has been asking to go all season, I thought well my dad took me when I was 12 he's 12 now so I can'tt see any reason not too. the day was fantastic and aside from us copping a little too much sun the weatehr was pretty good as well. The FPR boys drove a brilliant race, and that last lap nearly had me requiering medical attention, when Wincup made his break I was just hoping that frosty had enough up his sleve to hold him back

I think out of every driver that drove yesterday, Frosty was the man that deserved that win, no question about it.

It was interesting to note that they concentrated on the 3rd, 4th and 5th battle near the end of the race moreso than the battle for the lead. Because that battle was more interesting.
