relist them and give him negative feedback.

This is precisely what i have said all along, buyers with no feedback f*&% you around. Pay up front or buy elsewhere.

So you stuffed the seller around on your first buy? OR you sold first, cause a seller with 0 feedback is so much more trustworthy right?

Ive got 100% feedback with 140 something trades, once I even had 0 feedback too.

but I agree in this case, relist em. Seems youve given ample opportunity on this site, let alone egay.

The negative that I got was due to the seller charging me about $7.34 for postage when it was actually $1.07, I asked for a refund on the postage and all that I got was the NEG feed back, see below.

SHIPPING IS CLEARLY DISPLAYED ON LISTING..NEVER ASKED FOR COMBINED TOTAL.. Seller:
papi ( 20924 [Feedback score is 10,000 to 24,499] )

actual postage cost $1.07 was charged $7.34, no refund, only negative feed back.

Postage & HANDLING. That would be their argument.

No I followed the sellers instructions, which is why this thread started, coz the buyer with no feedback didn't.

Now he has to relist the brakes and it may not reach the selling price that he had already sold em for. Potentially losing money.

I've sold heaps on Ebay but only ask that buyers with neg feedback contact me before bidding to stablish bonafides, especially on expensive items.

Yeah you get that. Ebay make part of the feedback system, the feedback left as well. That is whoever leaves it first, if its neg, the last to leave it can leave neg, purely because of the neg left for them even if deserved. Basically youre trading feedback making that system useless. Positives mean nothing really.

They should make the feedback unseen until both parties have left it. Or if one fails to leave feedback, then that party loses the option to leave it, and the other parties feedback is displayed. By stopping the feedback comparison, youd get more honest feedback.

Basically if you need to leave negative feedback, youre often reluctant to do so as they will simply retaliate. So no feedback is left at all. Its daft.

I agree on the terms in the particular transaction, I was merely talking in general. Ive never had problems with 0 feedback bidders. I block neg feedback bidders full stop, as in -1. How people end up negative is beyond me? You have to able to get the first one right surely.

The brakes should be eligible for a second chance offer to the next highest bidder, but yeah, its a pain, and that risk is part of egay.

The buyer, member here, might just be a bit short of cash NOW and a tad embarrassed. It took a week or two to get to here didnt it? He might have given up and spent the dosh.

Well the brakes will be re-listed on Wednesday night and I will have to leave neg feedback for Scott, they will be re-listed at $1,500.00, as a set of these (PBR Brakes) are selling for around about $2,000.00 ($500.00 per corner) $1,500.00 is not bad!!
