Senior Systems Engineer.... bit rich being only 26! I'm not Senior damnit! Though I like the Senior responsability and take home pay
I'm currently doing all sorts of capacity planning and migration stragegies for a Finance and Insurance company for the Asia-Pacific Region. I've travelled to Japan twice this year and will likely to go again at least once more, and go to Hong Kong or mainland China late this year or next year. Also working on server and platform consolidation as well as proactive maintenance stragegies for the multiple platform types. Its a lot of meetings and planning documents but its a nice relaxing life. I rarely take work home with me at nights...

I'm finally back in a job where I don't take work home. I used to manage a helpdesk, now I'm back working on servers and desktops.

Hell, I worked part time during school and full time on the holidays when I was 17 at werribee park golf club in the pro shop! I used to sell stuff and change the pin positions at the end of the day.... your logic means I could call myself a golfing professional!

I am also an Advanced Life Support qualified volunteer with St John Ambulance, and a Village Firefighter qualified Firey with the NSW Rural Fire Service. In my 6 month bludge period I also founded an organisation that recruits young people into youth organisations, which is now a government supported volunteer business of which I was President until my recent withdrawal due to (paid) work commitments. I'd say that age has nothing to do with success. If you have goals and knowledge, you can do whatever you want.
