Just a quick note on that, there have been groups of us sitting and chatting whilst watching the coppers do just what you said. They have come up and spoken to us but never once hassled any of us. I guess it depends on the way people are behaving that attracts the 'wrong' attention.
I am sure your cars would be all left alone also.

I can agree with Fiery..... if we start doing burnouts, racing and being general hoons then we are going to attract the wrong attention.

If we are polite and behave then they should leave us alone....

This will be a friendly get together, no funny business as I am pretty sure others will have families and kids there these get togethers are designed for all who have a common interest to get together and chat and experience and gain advice, and to spin some bull &^%. If at any piont there is a hint of trouble I will be the first and will not hesitate to call in police, national gaurd who ever to ensure the night is a pleasant and fun for all.
Everyone is welcome on the cruise
cheers

you can go up from the north west, or the east. the north is a nice quiet run through roads that you can tick over at 105-110 cruising, or you can go down the highway to just past beenleigh and turn right and go through semi-rural and suburbs.

I suggest the option jase came up with with the south optional route where it splits. its just easier and no-one will get lost.

no burn-outs or stupid ******. i lost my license when I was a young fella and it's just not worth the hassle. I'm all for the barbie up the top though and I'll warn you now...the eastern approach has some steep sections and it may be cold. If the road is a bit slippery it can be a pain in the backside.

It is all good Dazzler.. it did seem alittle from left field, but as per the PM's there was never going to be an issue.. It is a friendly atmosphere and should always continue to be.. If it isn't well people should just stay home

I can be the official tow car.. I have a stock Egas ute ffs

July 28 - I'll come along....

I used to live around Tamborine Village & know the area well.
You can leave Garden City, head down the Goldie Hwy and exit at the Pie shop..
From there head over to Wolfdene, (Beenleigh - Tamborine Rd.) head south to Tamborine Village... The Bearded Dragon Hotel is right there in the village, nice Pub. Head from there up the mountain, to a meeting spot, lots of tourists/buses park on the strip though.
From there head down the eastern side through Coomarah to the Goldie Hwy again to Broard Beach.

It's a good drive with a few good straights and some nice twisty stuff nearly lock to lock in a couple of turns. Black Top all the way!
