Someone i know went to a Bali beach and scored a J off someone. After he lit it up, he noticed a cop making his way over so he casually dropped it and kicked some sand on it. When the cop found it he gave him a lecture on the rules and threatened to take him to jail unless he paid him 10000 Baht(i think) and he would forget about it. My friend was shaking by that stage and paid up quick smart! Cop straightened out the J, lights it straight up and says "gooda shita" and walks away. Giving the dealer a spotters fee in the process!

I have never been to bali myself but colleagues of mine have on numerous occasions and say that this sort of stuff is a regular occurrence....I wonder if schappelle was unattractive whether the media would be over the story as much.....

not to me but she does have piercing eyes ill give her that much.there would be many more females is prison who are less easy to look at... my point is if her sister who is named after another European make of car was the one in prison, I don't think the "face" would be everywhere....

One thing is for sure, every country needs to introduce air tight proceeds of crime laws.

Here is a bogan who has spent 10 years in gaol now looking at a potential $3,000,000 payout. Not bad earning a tidy $300K pa. Australia and Indonesia need to clamp down on this "incentive" before there is a swarm of others!

Paying Bhat would have him in Thailand. Rupiah is Indonesian. Makes you wonder why her sister was so quick ot the airport attempting to bribe the officials considering it didn't work, guess she met the non corrupt ones and their is a lot of non corrupt ones around.

That Mercedes Corby seems like a real piece of work.

Every time there is any footage she looks like a rabid feral, spitting, swearing and screaming everywhere, pushing everyone and waving her arms everywhere.

I know she's upset but the girl did the wrong thing moving drugs, what does she want? The drugs are perfectly aligned to her boogie board? Last nights news interviewed a couple of one tooth, tattooed, half pi$$ed white trash bogans hanging out side the prison, waiting in support of "our Schappelle".
When I see how we are often portrayed on the world stage I am embarrassed to be an Australian.
Anyone who supports this glorification of criminals (read: Ned Kelly, Chopper Read, Squizzy, Underbelly fools, Schapelle, Bali 9 etc) is part of the problem and wouldn't want to whinge if someone drives off in their pride and joy or does over their house.

Mate I agree, these clowns are a massive part of the problem. How about 9 make some quality shows about positive stuff like the early Australian explorers or founders of this country, it may just inspire some to have a bit more of a go rather than becoming a drug dealer and a celebrity.
