The experiences and stories shared here are common, and true. However are not the effects of "ghosts" from the dead, but from the other life form that has so far been ignored here.

Not thinking of the white figure in the background? Or is that just a big headstone/statue?

YEH! THATS THE HOTEL I STAYED AT!!!! man!, I wonder if that was the room I was in!? Wouldnt suprise me - The best discription I can give of the music I could hear coming from the corner of the room was Medieval like. I could hear it so clearly when I layed my head down but when I got up I could no longer hear it. The building is made of stone so it could not be from the room next door or outside.

to the OP there is definately a silhouette in the photo . did you highlight it with the circle ??
only thing i can add to this topic is my grandmathers freaky death . i was the last to see her in hospital besides staff . 2 days before she died of septicemia- blood poisening from infection-gangreen .
she was blind in her last 10 years of life . when i seen her in hospital she was delirious and was conversing with people - answering questions from from things that werent there , i could see her looking at people many of them around the room ( strange as she was blind) the way it seemed from her reaction was that i was one of many people standing around her bed , however i was the only one . she would talk to me and then turn her head and answer someone else with an answer like - what, as if someone spoke to her but she didnt quite get it . i had no idea what or who she was talking too , i told her i was the only one in the room , she didnt seem to acknowledge that and conversed with me only quickly with short sentences . one of them was that she was going to die , she was in a lot of pain and not at peace very uncomfortable and delirious . i did not believe she was going to die as i'd heard it all before, as she'd been in hospital quite ill a few times . a nurse in the room told her to stop being rediculous when she stated this to me , the nurse had just walked in to check on her .
2 days later she died in the morning i took the call from the hospital . my mum was immedialtely in shock . our dog started barking and forced his way in and stayed by my mum . really wierd . we went to the hospital to view the body as we did not know what else to do . i had to pull the dog out of the car as he jumped in and would not get out . the yard was fenced in by a 6 foot gate , as we drove off our dog jumped the fence and ran following the car . that was wierd .
when we arrived a nurse was in tears and said to me that the deathwas a violent one where doctors were holding her down pinning her to the bed she was in great pain and delerious as the nurse said she was conversing with people that werent there and seemed to have her sight back. then after having enough a great calm came over her she sat up looked into the air put her arms up and reached out saying of had enough take me now and fell back onto the pillow dead .
the young nurse had been givenm the drest of the shift off as she was so upset , she told me she'd never seen anything like it .
not a ghost story at all but plenty of unexplained there .

New Norcia would have to be one of the spookiest places I have ever been too. We went through there at sunrise and there was literally cobwebs over everything!!

Doesnt matter what time you visit there, it is creepy!

i have never had any experiences but i believe as my mum has seen the same ghost or figure twice with her 'real eyes'. i think it was before i was born she was home alone. she swears that she saw a young boy and things were always moving around. by uncle has also seen a ghost but i don't know the full story on that one
i do see a girl sitting down in that first pic though

Thanks fellas for the replies to my thread and for some of the good stories.

I have zoomed this picture, used different lighting techniques and changed the contrast of this picture a hundred times - but unfortunately I don't have the flash software to really crisp it up.

So if anyone can clear it up a bit better for me and send it to me I would be most appreciative.

I have also included the other picture which I took a minute later when we were walking home ( you can still see the cemetery behind ). Could someone please clear this up for me too. It looks like this ''image'' followed us home.

I too am a bit of a skeptic, but I took hundreds of photos in Tassi and these two are the only ones with ''images'' on them.

Cheers

O.K...

Just spoke to my dad about this sort of thing and he gave me a couple stories of his own. Being my dad I know its true.

First story was back in 1996/7 when my dad brought a XE or XF wagon. This was brought from a family of a German guy who planned to use it to travel around Australia. They were selling the car because he died before he could make the trip.

- Weather he died in the car or not is unknown -

Any who, everytime my dad started the car in the mornings a German radio station was on. He was always confused, because he had always had the radio set to the local Mandurah station.

I myself am not sure if there is even a German radio station broad casted in Mandurah/Perth in the mornings or not ( SBS maybe??? ).

Co-incidence or ''something else'' ????

2nd story:

My dad had an old small grand father clock which his father gave him before he died.

This clock laid on the mantle piece for years and never made a sound. They didn't have batteries in those days so I'm not sure how it kept on ticking to show the time.

However, one night the clock chimed. It wasn't until the next morning we found out that his mother had died that night. - At what time has always been a discrepancy.

So... We are not talking about ghosts or ''bogeymen'', but things that happen which cannot be explained.

Some very interesting stories going on. Might as well add ours. We moved into our house 15 years ago it was owned by an old lady whose husband was a very heavy alcoholic sailor. He died a few years before she moved out. We think the spirit of the old man takes over in some ways my own father. Since we moved here he has become a much heavier drinker and has taken On a few traits that this old man was said to have which is very out of character for dad.

Also we turned their old family room into my bedroom, this old bloke was also a heavy smoker and some nights this strange feeling comes about my room and a strong smell of ciggy smoke takes over. Not sure how to explain any of this but it is strange.

I have never seen a ghost, but have heard them open and close sa liding door in a house I once lived in. I was teh only one home at the time and was studying for my year 12 exams. I heard the door open and wet myslef. I spent about 30 minutes convincing myself that I had imagined it and then the ba5tard closed again. I wet myself again.

I have also had my mum and my sister see 'me' walk from a bathrom, dripping wet with a towel wrapped around me when I havent been home. This happened in two different houses in two different countries. No idea what this means, but it spooks me out no end when i think about it.

I spoke to my sister this evening about this. Turns out just about every room had strange goings on. No actual ghosts, but inexplicable activity. The cold room I mentioned earlier was room 2. Had a constant strong draught from under the door, even when everything else was perfectly still. Another room had 'scuttling' sounds like things moving over the floor boards. Room 11, which was the 'honeymoon suite', was where a nun commited suicide. I don't know when that happened. But the whole accommodation level was strange. To the point she wounldn't venture up there after dark. I've tried looking for the history of the place but haven't found anything yet.

EFXR65spd^^ From after my experience with the strange music and your sisters stories I would never ever EVER stay there again. I would never get a good nights sleep even if there was no unexplained activity going on.
After my experiences at my old place where I had the banging on the brick wall, my door being kicked open, the tv sounding likes its on and the light cover dropping with the screws being undone in my bathroom I would never stay at the New Norcia Hotel again - Id rather stay in a tent down the road.
That place is just too spooky. I can handle stuff happening at my own home of 25 yrs but at the old monestry with what ive heard - no thanks - never again.

My wife's cousin shared this story with us:

Their grandpa stayed with them for the last years of his life because he was quite ill. He eventually passed away peacefully.
The day after the funeral, the cousin's friend dropped in to give him something. The friend said something like, "I came past yesterday, but the old man who answered the door said you were all out."
The house was empty at the time; they were all at the funeral. When told this, the friend turned white.

lm much a sceptic when it comes to this sort of topic and have never had any ghostly encounters but as soon as l seen this photo l could clearly see the little girl skipping on the back of the tombstone, very interesting.
I have one photo at home of the "x" family with what they called orbs, to me it was a heap of dust particles flying around.

When I was sleeping over at my girlfriends house at the time, we used to hear these little footsteps through the house, she had a 2 year old brother so we assumed it was him, only thing was when we got up to put him back to bed, he was fast asleep.

A few nights later, there wasn't even the slightest wind blowing and a photo of her and her brother came crashing down from the window ledge. Then it happened the next night as well.

Found out from her grandmother that she had lost a child around her brothers age, not even my ex's mum knew about it. So yeah, could have been the cat for all I know but still spooky.

That's spooky.

I've had a few friends over the years tell me they have shared houses peacefully with ghosts. These people are quite serious individuals.

One lady said when she was in high school and used to study in her room at night, she was regularly visited by a ghost of a girl who would just stand behind her and look over her shoulder all the time.

Another lady told me that three or four ghosts regularly roam their house at night when they're all in bed. Sometimes they'd see them if they got up to pee or something and they deal with it by not getting in their way.

And another mate's friend passed away from a long illness and the next day he was awoken by someone violently shaking his body. He couldn't see anyone, but he could feel their hold on him. He was terrified, then it suddenly stopped.

The spooky thing is that he asked his friend to show him, somehow, that he can communicate from "the other side". I guess this was maybe his attempt!

My mate's mum showed me one of her wedding photos, taken in the church. She pointed to her mother who was sitting in one of the pews. You can imagine my shock when she told me that her mum had been dead for about 10 years before the photo was taken.

I personally don't believe in the supernatural, but I'm open-minded, and entertained by people's stories.

When I was probably 11 or 12, I lived in an old stone house in Moonta, SA...

There was a really strange raised bedroom in the centre of the house, a good 200mm above floor level...No windows at all, just a small skylight in the centre of the room...The floor also had a very hollow sound to it. And considering it was a timber floor and the rest of the house had slate floors...

My sister who was a couple of years older than me 'shotgunned' it as her own...
First night we spent there, next morning she quizzed if anyone else heard the violin music that night? Ugh no...Sorry, we didn't...
Went on for ages, she'd hear this violin music every night.

Mum spent a night with her in the room and said she heard the same...

House used to have a few strange noises....I remember one day early morning hearing these very ghostly screams/cries coming from these 'vents' in the walls...Raises the hairs on the back of my neck just thinking about it.

Perhaps the most vivid of my memories from that house was one night waking up and hearing dad outside...walked out and dad was there, asked him what was up and he just looked at me, and I've never seen someone look so terrified to this day. All he said was he didn't want to be here anymore.
Next day we stayed with friends at the request of dad and in a week or so we had sold the house and moved...

We still talk to this day about what we possibly could have found if we ripped up the floor of my sisters room...She's pretty sure we would have found a violin.

Also had some other weird happenings there...We had an old XE wreck that came with the property, the previous owner had organised to have it removed...anyway, about 2am one morning, some creepy tow guy came to move it...Remember dad askin this guy what he was doing and the tow fella was very jittery...just saying, 'what..what, oh...moving the car'

Strraaange.

Haven't had anything else happen really, but that was enough for me.

I have a story aswell....

In May of last year my uncle died. Well about 4 weeks later his daughter (My cousin) was attending Tafe at that time doing a photography course.

She was doing an assignment where she was taking photos of her house. One night she was at Tafe, and she rang my mum up crying. Mum asked her what was wrong, and she came around.

Whe she arrived she showed us a photo, and in the photo in the background feintly you could see where she had taken a photo of her patio, but you could clearly see a photo of my mum, and my uncle.

Alot of people said it could've been a double negative of film, but the strange thing was it was a brand new roll of film. Needless to say it sent chills up my spine.

No one ever remembers where the picture was taken either. Also a creepy coincidence that this happened 4 weeks to the day that he died.
