The cars were great, very nice to see. Most of us turned up at 9AM and didn't have to que. Only down side was I had to wake up a 6am... :( As said earlier, Ford owners are generally great people always ready for a chat, show their car, etc. I tooks pix most were of the E-series club, they can be found right here!

My first time that I have attended the All Fords Day with a car parked in the event. Was a great day, some beautiful cars and some dodgy ones too. Getting in and out was no problem. Had a good time. Next year I might even enter my car for judging.

My only critism of the day would be that the organisers should have a ruling which means cars are not allowed to leave before the conclusion of the show. i have been to many shows where this is the rule, it is only fair on the public who come. By finish time (4pm) there werent many cars left. my uncle is in the kiwanis and was there on the day as an organiser and i will suggest this to him. people who arrived later were not happy and may not return next year as the show may have been crap to them as there were not many cars. I understand people want to get hoime etc etc but if you make a commitment to be at the show you should stay there till finish time

You’ve bought up a good point XR-ENVI. I was amazed with the amount of vehicles that left before the finish. At the FPV day you are not allowed to move your car until it’s all over. This is a condition from their insurers. At the AME show at Jeff’s Shed you need to have an escort walking in front of your car wearing a safety vest. These places are just covering their backsides in case someone gets injured and wants to sue for millions.
By the way, I loved your engine bay. :sm_drool: Cheers, Danny

Just a few of the many pics I got on the day, of all sorts of stuff.
2 pics of the FPV & XR clubs BEST PRESENTED CLUB display, for the 3rd year running. Well done guys AND girls!! The next few I took at the end of the day. Was much easier to get good shots then, without 5 million people walking around!! Nikk's XR8. She spent hours and hours on it for the day, and will do the same for the FPV day this Sunday too. And yes, I'm VERY proud of her and the way she looks after it!! Not bad for a daily driver, ay. Brad's XR6. Al's GT-P. And the club's trailer. Easily the COOLEST trailer around!! Enjoy!! |

It was a pretty decent sized area, but we could have done with some more space, coz then we could have got some more cars in there!!
I think we had about 35 cars, although I didn't actually count them. |

Mate your right there. I got to the day at 2:45 and there were bugger all cars left. I ended up just watching them all drive through the middle and out the gates. I knew I'd held out for too long when I drove up settlement rd and saw them all driving back to Melbourne. At least I got in free though, wouldn't have been worth it otherwise. |
