Those pics confirm something I've seen and heard only as rumour.

Coppers are getting their XR6T's optioned with Brembo's (front 4-pots only) and old F6 rims (18").

Great photos guys, keep em coming...

Iv noticed in the past few weeks a few VE Unmarked HighWay Cars seemed to have ditched the aerials.

1 Green in Camden SW Sydney
1 Toxic in the Macarthur Area - SW Sydney
and 1 Bunrt Orange in Wollongong.

This has always been the biggest giveaway from a distance.
Lowered late model with tinted windows... the aerials always sealed the deal to confirm who they were.
But the 3 VE Sedans iv listed above, iv had to take a good few looks at to confirm what they are...

Anyone else noticed this ?

I cannot believe the amount of different types of stripe, colour combinations, lights, vehicles that there are.

I guess we don't have much variation here in SA, white with blue stickers.

ye i think we are speaking about the same one. He pulled over my bro for not wearing a seatbelt as he pulled out of a carpark. He had it on by the time the cop started up the lights but he still fined him.

cops are the biggest hoons on the roads.

The other day a cop was stuck in a traffic jam so he just pulled a U turn over the nature strip in his ford territory and floored it down the road.

I've seen cops turn on their lights to get throguh a red traffic light then turn them off when they are through.

Just today i saw a cop on the freeway on a motorbike going about 140 down the right lane.

That one might as well be a marked car!! those LED's stand out like dog balls, even worse than the first ones with the little LED next to the plate, they should have put them in the clear part of the tail lights and the other ones behind the black mesh.

Amazing how boring these police chiefs can be.

Thanks again anymore. ? very cool ! ! !
Was a time when all NSW police cars were white w/graphics. you'd only slow down if a white car was coming, incase it was a cop. Nowadays you can't take the risk as they may be Red, yellow, blue, etc.

Given some other late mail, I'd like to see these on the road.
OK, they're not cop cars, but it is law enforcement ,right???

Notice the single pipes, its a debadged SV6. Maybe it is actually a P plater cop and not allowed to drive an SS or XR6T.

today i saw an orange VE SS cop car cruising around. Lucky cops get to drive nice V8's. In america on shows like COPS, their patrol vehicles are shitheaps.

I recently changed my units car to an I30 Turbo Diesel. Whilst I am a civilian employee, often Inspectors and Sergeants will use our vehicle. It is unmarked, but has radio, dash lights and siren.

Point is, you cant pick a police car these days, best to drive within the limits.

The Massachusetts State Police have switched their 300+ vehicles over from the Ford Crown Victoria (now retired) to the AWD

Ford Explorer.

All those pictures of FG Turbo/F6 patrol cars have me salivating. Much better than the VE Omega I drive daily. Not the slowest patrol car, but, a bit more poke wouldn't hurt.

Good to see that Falcons are still being used by the QLD Police. Most of the cop cars around the Brisbane south have usually been Falcons, until the Toyota Aurion came out.

Locals regularly slipped a "P" plate in front of the number plate
